i think the biggest hurdle is getting used to how some of the brushes Feel, i know a lot of ppl who are just really attached to how sai brushes feel when they draw, but i think thats easily fixed with adjusting the brush settings, using custom brushes, etc

i did a year of hand studies,,, and i lov them,,,,
but i usually just try to look at my own hand when drawing and use that as reference? cuz if you'll see when you do the pose yourself, they fall on angles rather than straight like that
not all the of the beginning sects of the fingers are the same height, they're on a gradual decline, and since it's not a clenched form, the angles should be rounded instead of sharp and pressed
