that is wonderful. I really value this feedback because after working on it for 2 months, you can imagine I've listened to it over and over like a hundred times. I no longer have any idea what it sounds like to someone who hasn't heard it before.
So I'm REALLY surprised when people say that it felt eerie or that they felt the anticipation of it. It really makes me feel relieved to hear that.
So from what you've mentioned, the sound effects and the visuals come through well for you. May I ask your opinion of how the story is at this point? Is Michael relatable at all? Do you have much of an interest in what happens to him next or do you just like the atmosphere? I'm asking these questions to help me with further writing so dont worry. 😃 @half wave

Yeah Michael feels quite relatable to the point where he reminded me of one of my high school friends, when he said he was heading to his locker I felt a lurching feeling as if something bad was going to happen to him and the atmosphere is amazing, by the way you described it, it feels like a real school, I hope this has been helpful for you and I look forward to seeing what direction you take this!

I started this story years ago. But I hit writers block. Lately, since I've lost my job, I've had this free time. I started the podcast as a self improvement project of sorts. To prove to myself that I can make something to completion. And putting it in front of an audience gives me more reason to do that, instead of writing a story privately at home.
Also, I don't know if you read the episode description, but I intend to release intermission episodes in between the main ones so I can talk about the writing process and also answer questions from the audience if I get questions and such.

Hi guys! The time has finally arrived where I will run a D&D one-shot.
What is a one-shot, you ask?
It's a single quest or mission that you play out over a span of 2-4 hours (depending on the complexity, and whatever weird shenanigans or complications the players find themselves in).
This would be done in the interest of introducing more people into the wonderful world of tabletop RPGs. While I don't currently have the time to create a full-on campaign, I would still love to have an adventure with people curious to try and learn more!
Traditionally and for ease of play, the party should consist of 5 people maximum (especially if everyone is new to D&D). I myself will be DM-ing, which makes it a total of 6 people.
You must be comfortable speaking over Voice-Chat, since that is how I will hold the session. The only tools you require is access to a computer + the internet, and headphones/mic that you can use to communicate with 😃
The session will be held in english.
Once I have a full party, I will create a group-chat containing the members so that we may discuss character creation, as well as a good time for the session.
My timezone is the Eastern Time Zone (EDT:so -1 I guess?), so please keep that in mind when volunteering! I have a full time job from Monday to Friday, so any game planned will have to be done during the evenings or the weekend depending on what fits best.
If you are interested, please DM me and I'll put you on the list!

I will notify you guys once all spots are filled. If this session turns out well or if there is still interest even once the party is full, I may do a second one to be able to include more people!

hey can i have some help with colour palettes?
specifically designing a character who has large amounts of natural colours in their palette while also making them unique
since the character in question has to wear a lot of furs against the cold but her skin is also rather dark so there isn't much contrast

why not use light colors for the furs? most of the animals in cold environments have light colored fur to blend with the snow
