use watercolor paper especially if u get carried away and use a lot of water, that'll hlep you out

find paper with a thick weight!! jades right watercolour paper is tops, but bristol works well too if you blot before applying
if your paint is still wet you can add more liquid or pull pigment out with a napkin
if its dry you can add more water and dilute it a bit but its not gonna go away

i ask bc: with the watercolor style i've been using, there's like, no opacity to it so say i paint her up, and then do the background on a different layer. if there's like ANY overlap between background and person, i can see it

ohhh um well there is like, a masking tool and i think it might do what you want but i dont remember exactly how to use it
but um do you usually paint on a "white" background? bc what i usually do is just have a solid color in the background before i paint something up so that theres no like overlap i guess

oh no i mean like have a pink solid color for example instead of no background bc since the "transparent" bg in sai is usually white and when coloring things with brushes that dilute you might interpret it wrong, if that makes sense. so having a colored background makes it so that you dont missthe spaces that might show up when you do paint a background
but masking tool might help if i remember correctly, i just dont remember how to use it anymore :((

Perspective is a difficult thing, even for the best of artists. So people are just trying to help. I find it's always super helpful for people who didn't do the drawing to look at it. Since they don't have a mental image of what it's supposed to be, they're the best-equipped to notice the little things you can change in it to make it better 😄
