Personally I love the walking animation 💙 but I'm certainly no expert

@fading hawk Also the number of frames you use influences the 'smoothness' of the animation, so I recommend adding at least 2-4 more inbetween frames, just to see if you like the effect 😃

I'm in the process of fleshing out Narcs world. I've come up with things like demons are segregated away from humans in his particular area because it's not as open minded as the bigger cities, demons pretty much are treated like how early immigrants were. Most live in slums and the few who don't are forced to assimilate into human culture. As you can imagine, there aren't many half breeds around; for that reason combined with half breeds are more at a risk for genetic and physical abnormalities such as Narc's vitiligo and mild rosacea. He also has a semi-bad immune system.

He's also sort of developed a dislike for most of humanity because of how he's been treated as well as other demons

that way that helps me flesh out characters is imagining how theyd interact with certain people

Although you'll still mostly find him showing his human facade out in public, you'll rarely see him outside of it unless he's at home or comfortable with you

Like for example he's kinda standoffish towards his mom because of her being human but doesn't have a good relationship with his dad because they don't really share the same interests

Basically he lives in an AU Earth world where humans and demons have come to coexist, but in the particular area where he lives demons are segregated members of society. Most demons live in slums and are prone to crime and stuff like that, but there are a few who have been able to assimilate into human life (such as his father) and more or less have turned their back on the demons.
Narc is a half-breed demon, a human mother and a demon father. In my world, although demons are humanoid they are still a separate species entirely. So half breeds are not very common as they cause a lot of genetic abnormalities and they end up having a lot of physical problems. Narc for example has a poor immune system, vitiligo, and mild rosacea. He more or less got the less shitty end of the stick in terms of his genes.
Anyway yeah half breeds aren't common, and in fact his siblings are all adopted and very much full blooded humans because of this issue.
Narc doesn't really have a backstory yet but he does have a personality and a couple main interests. I can dm those things to you as not to clog up the chat @onyx oxide

here's my shane drawing from a little while ago. i think it looks rubbery due to the color choices and lack of contrast in the shading. it adds very little to the form of the picture i guess? i prefer starting with cel shading and using a soft brush to lighten or darken areas of it because of this.
