My mom gave me really good advice for doing anything creative: close your eyes (or ears) and focus on something else for a while. Come back to it with fresh eyes (or ears) and look/read/listen with new consumers senses. Then, you can 1) Appreciate what you do more, and 2) Find mistakes or where you got stuck more easily

Honestly, I just did a suuuper shitty cover of the Pelican Town theme, full knowing that literally whatever I post in here will get unending love and support and that it doesn't mean all that much since people will love it whatever it is. But, I do it because I know that every single note I play (no exaggeration) is building experience and making me a better player. For you, and for every writer, every single word you write will make you better, simply because you are writing, and that's why you write; because it feels good to get better at something. I don't have the time to sit down and read everything (or most things) that come through this chat, just like most people don't have the time or ambition to listen to the same theme covered almost 30 times in different styles (especially if they're 8+ minutes long), but I do it because it's an amazing feeling to really improve in a skill, and when I realized that a few months ago, it helped me so much.

This is my haul from yesterday. I'm really excited to try out the postcards And my friend recommended me the gellyroll white pens to go with them!
Sadly they had no large sets of tubes in any of the recommended watercolor brands y'all advised me. So I'll go online for those (I have to for my pencil sharpener and vellum paper) But I did find a nice set for clearance from Niji which has the colors I'm interested in! All i really have is that he's a half breed and has an affinity for astrology

But like, it's set within a society where demons and humans coexist and such. But in the particular area where Narc lives they are segregated and as such he's one of the only half breeds around
