It's definitely something that takes me ages

I find coloring hard for that reason (filling every pixel!!! especially with my hairy, uneven lines!!!)
but it IS the one part of the drawing where I can, like, really actually make things look a lot better than they should.
If this piece ends up looking AT ALL good
it's going to be because I'm good at coloring, not drawing.

It's actually why he considers it a curse and not a blessing. He has to heal from sickness and Injuries like a human would. And he can't magically fix all the problems. Brain damage will heal but he'll still be affected. He still feels emotions, very deeply. And he wishes he couldn't because it makes being as live so long hard.

When I was a kid I used to lean in really close to books to read, and did this weird thing where I kind of pressed one hand over my left eye while doing so. I have no clue why. But by the time I was a teen one eye was noticably more short-sighted. My eyesight has def gotten worse over the years but I rarely wear my glasses cause I don't yet require them.
