Is there any sort of thing that can help on improving the way you draw and shape eyes? I tend to struggle with them a lot, getting a proper shape and then drawing the iris. Idk if you guys would have anything on that

I recommend just looking at references. Understanding the underlying anatomy and how it sculpts what you see is super useful.

Skeletal or like, fully skinned? I look at faces a lot when i draw but i just seem to always end up drawing them the same

For the head, mostly the skull, but looking at all layers is useful. Skull and muscles.

I totally understand that. I feel like I have a hard time drawing unique faces, they all feel very much the same to me.

Yeah agreed, unless i try and copy a certain style then all of my faces just look bland and lifeless

If you're trying to change up the shape, try googling "eye shapes" or "drawing eye shapes" and see how other people do it.

Expressions are also important.

If you feel they look bland and lifeless, practice expressions.

Trick for hands and head: Hands are often approximately the size of the face, in terms of length and width. Try holding your hand (with fingers spread out) against your face.

As for head-to-body ratio, the body is usually approximately 7 to 8 heads in height and is usually a little less wide than the chest. Looking at the body straight-on, the sides of the head usually line up approximately with the nipples.

But every body is different, that's just somewhere to start.

If he only has a limited amount of fabric, he might just use fabric as a base and stitch leaves to cover up any spots. Fabric scraps that are left in garbage cans aren't very big, so it would probably just look odd to wear switched together fabric of different textures and colors.
