Y'all, but what if this was a dating sim not unlike dream daddy where you play as a parent of the villager going around meeting the different villagers before they moved to Pelican Town/while they're away or something (or even in the town itself visiting the Grandpa)

And you go around building relationships (with the option of platonic of course) with them all and you go (for example) to the big city and meet Leah's ex and it looks like they have a good life but as you get to know her you slowly uncover the truth of their relationship and convince her to leave her partner and move to Pelican Town to pursue her art career
