Does anyone know the best way to work on short comics?

A way where it doesnt burn you out but still able to churn it out in a timely manner ig

What I do is take it step by step. Do sketches one day. Lines the next day or over the course of a few days, take a day off, then do colors, then do shading.

#

Doing the sketches all at once helps me focus on pacing more than doing just one page at a time, since that's when my gears are really going for how the storyline would progress

#

But it's not as taxing as say, doing all sketches, cleaning them and doing the line art, etc
And then taking a break after linework helps since linework is such a detailed, painstaking process for me
Like it's okay, it doesn't irritate me, but it's so taxing on my energy level and motivation
So I take a day or two off and consider that my break time, then do flat colors. No shading, no textures, nada but base color, because that, too, is a taxing process
