couldn't find the message for the GH layout I use, but here is a verryyyyyy rough sketch the middle ones are iridium and the side ones are quality, it let's you place a fence like thing on the side to keep it from just being sprinklers while keeping some efficiency. if another sketch would help just ask as i know this looks really bad

hiya friends! celebrating the ability to finally post pics by putting up a pic of my farm. it's my first playthrough and i'm at y3 summer, but really happy with how this turned out so far.

still have some little adjustments to go - wanna upgrade the barns below first before moving my pigs over (so that they have a bigger grazing area), and also intending to start on ostriches hehe

the bottom left patch was empty for awhile, didn't really know what to do with it, but figured i could always use more grazing areas. plus, duck pond!

i originally wanted a mushroom forest over by the slime hutch, but then I added the slime hutch instead and put mushrooms around it all XD

The green house is moved 1 square down and to the left, hence the flooring I placed to indicate that fyi (cant move the greenhouse in the planned yet)

Thanks :3 I'm using a crapload of mods, but the basic aesthetic comes from Yellogs farm buildings (the purple roofs are my own recolor though) and Yri's Yellog style building mod is providing the pastel grass and forest border. The trees/bushes are simple foliage but unfortunately once again, I recolored those to be pastel myself >< so that's not available rn. The long grass I also made myself using another grass mod that I recolored.

If there's any other specific element you want to know about just ask

Oh and the greenhouse is a naver mod (from the korean SDV modding website)

This isn't random! Designing doesn't come naturally to everyone and that's okay! It took me ages to figure out my farm design and settle on what I have now. One thing that really helped me was pathing. I compartmentalised within each corner, then put buildings there. Then I'd leave it there for a few weeks, and if I didn't love it after that, I'd swap things around. I can show you the progress for my farm if you'd like lol. It's all over the place.
