Firstly you could start with knowing where you want specific buildings to be. Secondly, you add paths and lastly you decorate around this base. The last step would be for aesthetic purposes.

The grass helps me keep hay in the silos, and it helps me build up hay by the time winter comes. I just harvest all the grass before winter so fill the silos

I like the pond area you made. I actually use the ppja mods, but your greenhouse is a bit too large in my opinion.

Have you thought about adding config options for different sizes? More people could be interested in your mod then. Just a thought.

For this one i just wanted one that had similar crops together like all the herbs in a special section, the trellis crops in an area, the berries in an area ect.

100% grass, you should do grass around and some trees, add benches if you will, a campfire hangout too!! i also recommend adding pot plants around, or sheds too regardless, its really up to you and depends on what inspires you, you can go with a nature vibe, a japanese vibes or anything else! i really suggest checking stardew pinterest out! :DDD

For the left one you put a super cucumber (the purple one) in a bin hidden in the forest behind the blacksmith||

can make this as big or as small as space lets you. I normally do at least 6 of each for Oak, Pine, and Maple, and 3-4 Mahogany

@hoary copper You could also try seasonal flowers as well instead of iron fence, I used the ones that go all year here. Using Brazier's for light might be nice for a softer touch, I'd close the loop off then so that you can't turn lights off accidently.
