It's two rows of ancient fruit, one of hops, two of strawberries, one cranberries, one blueberries, one grapes, one starfruit, and the last one is four cactus fruit and then empty for if I need to plant something short notice and my fields are full. Then I got one of each tree, the empty spaces are the trees I haven't planted yet

I would exchange the caviar for some other item, I would also use some 1.5 itens such as geode crusher and bone mill (I think it's the name), and definetely would use the dwarf PC thing and trade the lamp posts to match the furniture lamps, and choose just one between the axe and the fork lol

for me it's a 9/10, for personal prefferences (usually a incredible note for a "modded" design) *yeah the frog is something i envy xD but i rather have then alive, if you know what I mean)

@shy hemlock @green moon @wispy sandal Yo o/ you all where talking about mods, so I wanna talk about it if u don't mind (sorry for the ping?). so, i'm a PC player then I can choose to go use or not, I personally don't like mods cuz I'm a very strong fan of the vanilla game, and I think mods can make everything way more fun than its supposed to be, or just to fix some aspects we do not like about the game. As a fighting game player, I often like the stress of some aspects of the vanilla, such as visual stress, optimising stress, weird asymmetrical places stress, and the mods just remove what I like the most, not saying it's bad, but I feel bad when a super cool farm is visually modded, as well as considering players which can't install these mods, but something I completely agree is: Mods are super-duper cool, don't get me wrong lol

I get what you mean, while mods are a fun and exiting thing, in something like stardew, you might feel a bit strange using things to help you make your farm. my advice would be to play the game in vanilla quite a bit, then play with mods after. That's how i'm planing to do it after i finish playing through the 1.5 update anyways.

Good morning. I'm sorry if I adress something old. But I'm designing a farm for a play with a friend and I noticed 3 things:
-The greenhouse isn't movable in the planner, probably because it's from a recent update.
-I have a cabin on the river farm. As I tried to place my cabin in the planner I noticed that some blocks of it are in water by default in the game. Is that right?
-It looks like some blocks (especially green grass) can't be built on in the planner.
is this known or am I just to stupid to make it work?

When I first got Stardew Valley 2 weeks ago in order to play with friends, I didn't check the maps beforehand or anything, I just picked the mining map because it sounded cool... it turns out the map was really small :') But I liked the character of it a lot, so I've been modding it in subtle ways to get more space while keeping its charm. I'm really proud of it (and my farm) so far :)

The time costs to manage harvests and keg processing for hops are ridiculous

You need so twice as many kegs as you have crops. Which means you're forced to start looking for keg space in some pretty stupid spaces.

You can pretty easily find convenient off-farm space for maybe 1000 kegs.

It makes sense to me, since I like going for designing my farms and all, so you just achieving a ton of money in a year and leaving it there, doesn't make any sense to me.

Now, if I go through all that effort, to then use all the cash to make a pretty and working farm design, that marries better my play style with the possibility of min maxing

To not go TOO off topic, I've had this design all ready in my browser for a while now

Rendering is quite funky, the fish ponds and a couple obelisks are invisible unfortunately. Also will probably change the hut for something else.

So, having the funds to fully go at this in year 2, is interesting

Ah it's just a mod that allows you, without having anyone occupy a cabin, upgrade it to the bigger sizes (if a cabin is not occupied, in vanilla you're just stuck with the small size)

in the non winter months those little snow mounds in the obelisk area will be pink and blue flowers. (its also snowing so the colours are dull)

I only managed to do basic decorations for now since most items i need aren’t in the catalogs
