I made a Stardew Valley Maze/scavenger hunt for my friends and I to play. The paths are hidden with tall grass, and roadblocks includes stones, sticks, trees, and the placement of hay bales.

Chests include point values ranging from 5-15 (pumpkin, gold pumpkin, treasure Chest). There is also one specific high value chest by each individuals house

but they are hidden behind trees or the building itsself. An example is the Light green roof house. There is a lime green chest hidden into the leaves of the tree.

All items were hand placed beside the naturally occurring rocks. I cleared the entire area, made the maze, and then filled it all with grass. You cannot place items on tall grass first.

I haven't had any mods break my games. Now if you wanted to stop using a mod that changes an interior, you should first pick all stuff inside that building up, and then remove the mod, so things are not lost in unreachable places

For tips I’d suggest maybe taking out a couple Junimo huts (if you want functionality > aesthetics) because their range is quite big, you wouldn’t need that many crowded on one side. Maybe replace them with some deco / lamps / kegs / trees?

For the right side maybe more crops? Fruit trees + kegs could be really good for profits. 🙂 you could also do sheds to place your artisan machines within so you can process the wool / milk / eggs / truffles you get!

I really like the top part of the farm, with the main buildings. I would suggest on of the ||mini obelisks|| would be near your house, otherwise you have to walk a bunch to either of them to be able to take advantage of them. I only partly agree on the animal building placement/hardwood.. that is, I like the buildings there, what I wouldn't do is fill the space with flooring. You can have both: the animals in that spot + renewing hardwood. As someone said, I'd make the crop area bigger, there's a lot more that the junimos can reach.

also i have the mini obs where they are so i can warp from one end of the farm to the other quickly, but i will think about moving them

i highly recommend placing bee boxes since there you can grow fairy roses during the entire year

I updated my farm layout (I'm playing with 7 players, we changed the game files to add more cabins). The greenhouse goes in the purple area, and in the original greenhouse spot, goes more horses. If you're playing normally you could use the cabins and horses spaces for sheds

my biggest tip is to put silos wherever it's too small/inconvenient to put other stuff

For aesthetic sake, my advice is to put silos stacked up against each other vertically, or all in a row at the very top of the farm. This means you don't have the super tall (and kinda ugly) silos blocking the view of everything behind them

It's a bit difficulty to use every space effectively.
For the sake of it, I'm currently using the Planner. I'm trying my best to calculate with potential expansion:

• I have a Coop, but I'm planning to build a Barn for experimental purposes... and for the requirements of restoring the Community Center.
• I'm not rich, but I'm planning to plant more Fruit Trees.
• I have only 1 Fish Pond now, but I would like to build more (4 or 5 in total). But if the symmetry and the needs require it, it can be 8 in the future.

(And to make it clear, this is my 1st run. So the lack of experience and money is logical from this point.
Saving a lot of materials, because I never know, when I will need any of them; being newbie at raising animals; etc.)

The only problem is the reinstallation. I have a fear that I will have to empty the Fish Pond, if I want to move it. The other problem is the Fruit Trees, because it's a bit expensive to cut them down, and they can't be replanted by seeds.

It's in a fixed position, just like your house. You can move buildings, which you constructed (like a Silo or a Coop).

On tips, well, I normally try to first decide on spaces or a general division of the farm, and then try to play around with some of the shapes you can make, like it's super easy to go all square, but little tweaks on it change the aesthetic so much

The cabin chimney lines up nicely with the shed chimneys 1 tile back, too.

Though I'm not going to lay down path or put too much work into the surroundings until I see how it looks fully upgraded. Roof height and all that might change.

Yeah, a yard would definitely be nice, I actually am overhauling my pasture with the same considerations. Deleting a couple silos and moving my horse in with everyone, then redecorating

Instead of the default wood floor, I would do straw floor or one of the other wood floor types under the tools. Better contrast and integration with the aisle floors.

Though if all the unfloored spaces are filled up it won't be noticeable. It's spots like the right of the recycler where it's noticeable.

Maybe an entryway carpet too.

The water is in fact the blue flooring from the catalog, and then they put craftable flooring on top. The boats are deco items from the catalog as well

Amora farm! I forgot to check but I think I'm on year 7, I spent around 170 hours on Stardew, and my farm looks kind of messy lol

My farm is mostly based on the farm animals, I have been thinking of starting a crop farm after I finish this one bundle. I do grow stuff in my greenhouse and I'm working on making a big pumpkin infront of the shed and I'm also growing ancient fruit there too 🙂

Minor 1.5 spoilers: ||thanks to the corner room, southern room, ability to move your bed, and ability to ditch the kid furniture, upgraded cabins are essentially bigger, cheaper sheds. I was able to fit 342 slots on the first and second floor. I ran out of time and reset the day because I didn't want all those fence posts to really be there, but I'm sure more than 342 is possible. If you save the money and skip the cellar, a cabin is about 2.5 deluxe sheds. If you assume 125 slots used in the cellar for a total of 467, a fully upgraded cabin is 3.4 deluxe sheds. ||

I'd be more curious about the number of hours versus ingame time. People who are more into the 'pause and plan' approach and rarely go to bed before 1am are likely to achieve things in less ingame time. But I don't know that they're using less RL time overall. Especially if they're also replaying days.

Ultimately it's an open-ended single player game, your only competition is with yourself.

One thing I also like to do is clear out an area, and then decorate it, but reset the day over and over to give it the clean slate again, until I'm happy with it. Or do stuff on the Planner. Can't do that in MP. 😄
