#farms-and-outfits

I completely agree! I was surprised at how much small the crop land is at the forest farm.
that's why I edited my save to switch off the forest after nearly 3 years lol. bored of not being able to farm in my farming sim
i do wish there were farms that still had adequate farming space but just a different feel to the layout without having to mod the game
I tried to upload my farm to the planner site but I couldn't find the file
anyone think or know if cross play will be added in the future?
Crossplay is very unlikely at this point, I would assume it's not happening
Your save files are located in %APPDATA%\StardewValley\Saves on Windows, or ~/.config/StardewValley/Saves on Mac and Linux. @formal ember
So I've been working really hard on my farm plan for a while now and finally got something I think I like, I'm only at the beginning of year 2 now though, so I didn't put anything too advanced. Does anyone see anything they think I can improve on? All feedback is much appreciated!
I think you're going to be refilling that silo a lot
And don't forget scarecrows for the big field
True
Should I try to implement some weathered floor into my farm?
This is mine
Also what here?
Some art?
As patterns?
Adding some wood flooring to contrast those areas more?
And some fencing and flowers
Just to change it up from being super gray like in the bottom left
im using wood as a main pathway
Do you have plans of adding anymore buildings?
Or I guess using any of that unused space in general, not just with buildings
and no
You could move your silos to the left of the field maybe, it'd make the barns/coops less crowded
Maybe get some crab pots in the pond and put worm bins in the unused space above it @kind abyss
@kind abyss I don’t think it would hurt at all. Weathered floor looks sooooo nice to me
I think that could look very nice, definitely worth getting weathered floor for.
this for here?
wait this looks like the twitch logo so ill make it that
is this good?
Thanks I did it randomly
is the community farm available to design?
yes
oh nice
welp, so much work with forest map
how do i take shot of whole farm?
Then drag the pic of your farm to a new tab and send the link
Once you’ve uploaded it
https://upload.farm/static/images/5/1FOkII/1FOkII-m.png Link should be like this
I have all animals, cow sheep pig
Forgot
Cause I have like ~1/6 Of my field for my 2 barns
And another ~1/6 for my coop things
Why you need so many spaces? To be able to move?
my truffle farm
currently 92 pigs
only 72 of them are adults
planning to make more
I make 170000g-250000g per day
Wow thats one ugly looking farm
:/
Lol
true tho
I can feel the offense but ok
I'm planning to make it good
but your farm needs lots of maintenance
This is a render of the plan I made before I started my current farm. I haven't got the greenhouse or built the mill, shed, or the slime hutch, and I'm missing some iridium sprinklers. Besides those points, my current farm is almost exactly as I wanted it, except that it has many more trees than what I put on the plan.
I prefer to make nice farms rather than focusing on making as much money as possible.
I know nothing about forest farm
I like the forest map. My favorite farm designs, either my own or other players', are usually forest farms. Next time I'll probably have a go with the custom hill-top forest map. That one looks interesting.
A few many flowers for the bees
I throw efficiency out the door in favor of aesthetics and a believable farm. 30 beehives would never make 30 jars of fairy rose honey from a single rose. I hate having too much money in games because I lose interest. At the point that you have millions of dollars, what are you even playing for?
True
What do you guys think now?
yes
Pigs need tons of space, iirc they won't spawn truffle if they're standing on plantable grass, so only ground
Yeah you'll see truffle on grass, but it's bcz the tile next to it was ground, pig spawn truffle in front of themselves, not under them
But need ground tile under them
Unless that's changed in the new update
I used to have 72 pigs 😅
How much truffle you get a day?
Ah
My ratio was 3/pigs a day
If you're getting less than that, then
/adult pigs, sorry
Well, automate, yes?
I'd suggest to count them, maybe just dump them all in the evening, but good luck playing with pigs
thanks
what planner is that yall are using?
we're using https://stardew.info/planner/
Plan your Stardew Valley farm! ...on a coffee break!
then i take it the ones above are screenshots? my little plan for community farm far left is pine/maple/oak farm , purple is fruit farm, red is other buildings + my modded buildings
Plan your Stardew Valley farm! ...on a coffee break!
there is a purple rendering menu on top right for official maps which will render game-like images using https://upload.farm
for modded maps you can't do that
ok its only for offical was wondering why it didnt work on community farm
Yeah the rendering thing uses upload.farm and it probably doesn't support modded stuff
There is a mod for capturing an image of your in game farm if you want to share that (although I'm not sure it's been update for 1.3 yet)
If you're looking to min max, you could lose a couple scarecrows and have a more efficient bee hive formation. But I like yours more aesthetically.
Yeah ylu only need maybe 3 or 4 scares in the right field
4 definotely in left methinks
There's a scarecrow layout helper in the planner. I really like it
Very orderly. I like that.
Maybe some junimo huts?
I might get one, but only for fun, I l prefer harvesting by myself. It also takes up less space
i updated my farm plan a lil
im prolly gonna get rid of the junimo huts, but we'll see
thoughts?
I've never been a fan of farms with lots of pathing. And I'm assuming you just didn't put sprinkles down but you'll have those. Right now it looks like some of those caves are blocked off so you'll need to move a scarecrow or remove a beehive. I would also include a few trees to tap for maple syrup and pine tar and stuff.
yeah
@solar kayak I would make your paths 2 spaced instead and use the extra space for the trees
also maybe get a better looking path if you would like that many paths in your farm
and for the beehives, maybe to save money remove a lot of those flowers and put some in specifics spots that will be more efficient
Lots of cobble path
I use a combination of stone and wood
Mainly
S S W S S
S- stone
S- wood
This is mine (ignore the circles)
I used a lot of cobble because of the visual mod I’m using
None of the paths look good with it, so I had to make do
Lemme get a pic
im using starblue valley and the witchy exterior and interior, so it kinda made it complicated
heres kinda a better view
Eh
🤷 its my farm
Eh as for how the cobble looks
None of the other paths or floors looked good
I usually go with stone or wood floors, but because of the visual mods and my house, the colors clash
I don’t have any ascetic mods so I just use stone around the wood and the wood as a main path
I was playing in vanilla for the longest time, but I’ve been dying to use my witchy interior and exterior mods
I just have like tractor, automation as my main mods
They didn’t look good in vanilla, and I didn’t want to use a toned down Stardew Valley mod, so I went searching for starblue valley
And CJB things
Hmm, depends on what you want to focus on. You've got some space for a fruit tree orchard or a beehive area if you want. Could also drop a slime hutch down if you're interested in slimes.
Ohh I forgot about slime hutch
I’d add an electricity farm at the bottom there, but that’s cause I’m a sucker for $g lol
Battery packs don't sell for as much as diamonds or other stuff so I'm not sure that's worth it
i just like lightning rods because they protect my crops from those storms...
Well yeah
It's important to have them
I've just never really considered it an income source
if people want a slime hutch let 'em slime hutch ouo/
I don't use my batteries for income, unless you count sprinklers as income because I can spend my time doing things that aren't watering crops
True
Is that a dugout?
Is what a dugout?
Idk
@restive maple I think we are all curious... what is a dugout? (In the context of SDV)
@rigid grail A dugout is a pit which is dug to hold water. The water could then be used for irrigation.
Yeah, 5.
Ohhh that makes a lot of sense! Thanks for clearing that up. Is there a mod for it or is it an aesthetic choice?
https://mouseypounds.github.io/stardew-predictor/
This thing is OP
ohh idk if i was mentioned in this channel
idk what should i do with that spare space, maybe slime hutch or other things, crops maybe? @kind abyss
Ping
I revamped my farm based off some fan art I saw and made designated wilderness areas
It’s still a rough layout, but I’m liking how it is
If I ever wanna expand, I can without too much damage
ive always wanted a smallish farm but with enough room to still maintain a nature-y area
I appreciate the symmetry
i appreciate how there arent those 2 ponds in the middle
Don't forget scarecrows for the crops
Oh ok
The extra caves, the moved shrine
Yeah makes sense
Maybe they also have a mod that they don't have to water or keep crows away also
I play with out mods so what I said might be complete BS xD
Well there's a lot of mods! I don't use any either so I don't know
this is a custom map, it isnt the one im actually using but its very similar
i do use my watering can since my crop space is small-ish, but if im in a hurry to do something, i DO have a mod that waters my crops
i live and lead a simple life
the actual map im using is...uhhhh
lemme double check
farming dream, the clean layout
hello, i have never used stardew planner before but i want to start using it to make my farms look nice, i need some help lol
how do i suggest to add a modded farm layout?
'cause i recently started a new farm on this map but sdv planner doesn't have it: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/2398
@vernal willow typically you need to send specific images to @warm linden.
got it, thnx!
there is, in fact, a no crow mod!
kiuqwhdiuqwhdiuqhiuhqwiudhwqiudhqiuwhdiuqewhdiuqwh
is there a way, without mods, to get trees to grow on the grass areas in the forage map?
Do you mean like this? https://upload.farm/static/images/4/1FvZjZ/1FvZjZ-m.png
There are certain spots that fruit trees and regular trees won't grow, but in general it is not an issue for them to grow on areas of short grass.
Could use some feedback on this hedge maze (the hardwood fences on the left side). Flowers are the dead ends and will probably be tub o' flowers or other seasonal plants. Also not sure what to put in the center (currently marked with cherry tree) https://stardew.info/planner/shy-grasshopper-48/ Hmm, now that it's rendered, the lower left corner of the maze is obscured by the buildings and needs some rework too.
Plan your Stardew Valley farm! ...on a coffee break!
Put one of the small statues in the center? And I think the corner is fine because you'll see it fine when you're walking through the maze
Also maybe consider making just one entrance to the maze? With three, you have to make sure that it's solvable from all three, but one would give you more space to work with if that makes sense
Statues are a good idea. And it is solveable from all 3 entrances currently. It's not a terribly hard maze 😄
Yeah I was trying to say that having just one entrance would let you make it more difficult if you want that :P Not sure I explained it properly
Understood.
Or you could put a chest in the center with some sort of prize :)
I thought about that, but it's mostly just decoration, so something like a statue works better.
Are there any hedge like plants in the game?
No, but I wrote a mod that changes a fence into hedges
So it's an excuse to use that
Closest for actual plants I've seen is coffee, but that only works for 2 seasons
One of the new seasonal plant items might not be too bad either, but I haven't looked into that
You say that you made a mod so casually
Oh cool! Well please share your farm when you get it all set up!
Will do. Hmmph, the planner isn't including the hardwood fences in the object count. 😦
@waxen veldt are you referring to my forest farm? The coop is empty, just haven't destroyed it yet. And to which barn are you referring?
barn near greenhouse
@waxen veldt why do you say that? It doesn't obstruct my ability to get into the greenhouse. And both barns fit quite nicely there.
Can you elaborate on what is wrong with the layout?
I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but i guess it seems relevant, and that is what is the best placement for a junimo hut? i can upload a icture of my farm if someone can maybe see if it would fit?
can i see a pic of ur farm
Did a map export to test something, so figured I'd share my progress. Hedge maze is built, but doesn't have all the "dead-end" decorations yet.
ah ok ty
Hedge Maze complete! Next I need to figure out what to do with the area by Grandpa's Shrine.
Line with trees and flowers perhaps?
I’m trying to do a farm where I only sell Fish and Crab pot items, I’m using the river layout but i’m not sure of what to include on my tillable land if i’m not selling
are you using the planner?
could have some processing areas
are you cooking anything?
I don’t have a PC so i’m not really plannering
and by cooking anything what do you mean?
are you planning to cook anything like sashimi or the fish based foods
well i mean i could do that but i can’t exactly sell them, i want to fill some sheds with one of every fish gold quality on a lil table furniture thing
(@chrome timber You leveled up to Villager! You can now join voice chat and all public channels. See #445729591533764620 for more info. Keep up the good work!)
and some recycling machines
i’ve gone down the crab pot route for the skill, and i’ll probably go for no bait for the crab pots as my level 10 profession
also you need worm bin
^mostly for the rod
well, all for the rod at that point
damn i haven’t been using bait this whole time and i just did my first day with it and i’ve caught like twice as many fish
Lol
made 4k in a day wow
you can sell sashimi tbh
considerably more profit for some of the less profitable fish
if you count that as making money off fish
which I do
Ive kind of hit this point in the game where i have stuff to do but im kinda drained for money
like im seeing people with 100's of thousands of gold
i want that life
Well do like large crops
im looking at the most expensive stuff and im growing them in my greenhouse
(@jovial geyser You leveled up to Villager! You can now join voice chat and all public channels. See #445729591533764620 for more info. Keep up the good work!)
how to you put you planned out farm into your game?
either by hand or with the mod for it
anyone had ideas for what to put in the empty space near my house? https://stardew.info/planner/pink-quail-79/
(the square of paths is where i put machines and stuff)
Plan your Stardew Valley farm! ...on a coffee break!
why are worm bins inconsistent
welp i decided it looked too ugly so i made a new one.
Plan your Stardew Valley farm! ...on a coffee break!
That is a lot of crops. Nice aesthetic though. WIll probably need to squeeze a scarecrow in that corner above the small pond to protect the flowers.
I'm going forest farm and only allowing myself one junimo hut square of crops
intense, lol
what are you filling the rest with? I've been using the forest farm on my switch game
https://imgur.com/ab76DHB this is sorta the plan I'm heading towards
(@lunar rapids You leveled up to Villager! You can now join voice chat and all public channels. See #445729591533764620 for more info. Keep up the good work!)
hi hap, i place all my production equipment (oil makers, kegs, ect) in sheds near barns and coops, it saves a lot of space!
you can also place production stuff in barns and coops.
righty!
Hello guys
Howdy! Welcome!
Hi
Thx
Anyone knows how can i save my stardew valley planner to change it later if I want to? xd
If you click the disk icon in in the menu (green button), the site generates a custom URL for you. Copy that URL and enter it again later to return to exactly where you were.
Thx bro xD
(@gloomy pine You leveled up to Villager! You can now join voice chat and all public channels. See #445729591533764620 for more info. Keep up the good work!)
no problem!
@lunar rapids Likely a barn or coop for each animal.
So a barn full of pigs, a coop full of rabbits, a barn full of goats etc
Just scattered around
I really need to organize my forest farm
Hey, so I'm planning out my farm
I haven't played in ages so I don't remember exactly what I need
Is there anything else essential that I need for it?
Also, is there a way to not have the buildings cut off? Seems to cut off when planning them
(@frosty pebble You leveled up to Villager! You can now join voice chat and all public channels. See #445729591533764620 for more info. Keep up the good work!)
@frosty pebble Hi
hi
will you be my friend?#
Sure?
the cutoff is to plan around buildings and only displays the area taken up by the building
and what you need really depends on how you want to run your farm ^^
There's a purple render button in the top right if you want to get a view that doesn't cut off the buildings
Don't forget silos
hoi uh...i know its dark but how does this look for a misc shed? i just got the crystalarrium(?) so i decided to clean up a bit to make room for it
does the layout look okay?
the layout is reasonable. If you need to fit more you can get rid of the empty space betwen the furnaces and other machines (everything can already be reached from inside each "C")
could also drop some lamps (either crafted or the ones from furniture catalogue) for more light if you use them at night and want to brighten it up
aight coo! ill keep that in mind
Can you help me organize this
3 "C" on each side
If that so how can I get in and take diamond
Is it possible to use the Planner with a custom map without pestering hpeinar? I'm on one of Ace's Expanded Farms (Cherryblossonhh's Forest) and the planner just renders it as a normal Foraging map when I import the save.
Does hpeinar hang out here? If so, I love you!
Welcome to he server lira and sorry I can’t help cause I’ve only played on standed maps
@dawn turtle I don't think so. hpeinar is a nice guy. You have to send a high quality image of the layout though.
Hmm. The only place in these files I can think to find that image would be in this .tbin - any idea how I'd unpack that?
I am not tech savvy... sorry!
No worries, thanks!
(@dawn turtle You leveled up to Villager! You can now join voice chat and all public channels. See #445729591533764620 for more info. Keep up the good work!)
@dawn turtle you could ask in #making-mods-general I bet someone there knows
a bit bad but its Y2
that's a good year 2 farm
I agree.
Yeah it looks good! Do you have any plans for it?
maybe after Y3
now I'll gather up some money
maybe I'll put coop and barn somewhere else
How do you take aerial screens of your farm like that?
(@gleaming adder You leveled up to Villager! You can now join voice chat and all public channels. See #445729591533764620 for more info. Keep up the good work!)
what is the point of stardew planner
helps you map out your farm w/o having to sacrifice time and resources in game
@gleaming adder if you play on PC, you can upload your save file to upload.farm
I didn’t know that. I always thought that you just copy your farm in the planner
Yea just go through upload farm and you can edit your current farm
Eta on a beautiful app to plan the farm on? Website is ass on touch screen
@warm linden How many upvotes do I need to get on reddit in support of a mobile planner to kickstart its creation?
Just gonna put out there that making something for desktop is different from making something for mobile, and a kick starter won't be much help if the service was free anyway
Also it's kinda rude to assume getting some up votes will make the creator make an app sooner
I think the upvotes thing was a joke
I don't know that I've seen hpeinar talk about an app, I would guess it's not happening unless he happens to be well versed in app development. In regards to supporting him to get more features, there is a patreon. None of the goals are an app though :P
Could be keeping focus on the desktop version for now
@short trout front page obviously (of reddit, not /r/stardewvalley) : p
I mean, you can make the poost and see if people are interested of course, I don't mind (I'd bet that most people will be "what planner?!")
There isn't going to be a mobile APP for it though. Best I could promise is that the web version would work better for mobile than the current version
I'd kill to be able to properly plan from my bed ;-;
Summer 6th, Year 1.
The square of trees is my wood farm, the rectangle is for Tappers.
I sort of min-max fishing for most of spring.
I had level 10 fishing in the first week.
However, the counterpoint is that I don't have a lot of levels in other skills. 5 farming, 4 mining, 6 Foraging (some of my spring crops were wild seeds), and 3 combat.
But a 10 in fishing with Fisher>Pirate nets a lot of materials, food, and artifacts. The two crops in the coop yard are ancient fruit.
With those crops you'll likely have 10 farming by fall
That's the hope. The trellises are Hops, most of the rest of it is Coffee. one patch is wheat and another patch is peppers, 2 patches are fertilized melons, and another patch is miscellaneous bundle crops.
I'm also probably gonna move the coop and barn as soon as the ancient fruit die. (so winter.)
min max fishing y1 spring is the way to go if youre powergaming for sure. Several Legends possible sure give you a nice boost. Best outcome is if you also get to buy a Coffee bean at the cart on Spring 4. Takes little effort to multiply, doesnt distract you much from fishing, but then by spring you get a fairly big coffee field that multiplies really fast and brewed coffee is the best Summer y1 good
With that setup, which admittedly requires luck at the cart, you can have high farming in summer on top of your maxed fishing and insane money going into fall
how can I improve
the farm plots itself are quite cluttered
maybe try putting them in sections
instead of filling it all up
fences are great for organization, and paths for faster walking o/
yep
if you section off even whole fence sections with pathing so the sections are the same size as multiples of your watering can charges, it makes watering less of a hands in the air "why did I miss one spot" affair
my first time messing with the stardew planner!! I really like this cute little farm though!! (as you can see i really enjoy flowers)
my ideia was a self sufficient farm. So I dont need to water with lots of farming
and to look kinda simetric
@twilit pasture looks great
ah, a good point! I was thinking about how I dont have iridium sprinklers yet and I water by hand
but yeah, if you make little sections with paths at least, it could end up being able to be made more symmetrical!
thank you guys for the help
no worries! ^^ ultimately it's up to you!
@twilit pasture If you put sprinklers in the middle of the crops and add a fifth row, you could have more crops and only use 5 sprinklers instead of 12
But then no super big crops
anyone got some pretty foraging map layouts? can't seem to find any
As forest farm?
I'm bound and determined to make the River Farm look good... =_=
Might actually get somewhere with a farm if I stopped restarting
This is why I min-max fishing during spring Y1
With the river farm, is fishing improved everywhere there’s water or just on the farm?
(@cedar tartan You leveled up to Villager! You can now join voice chat and all public channels. See #445729591533764620 for more info. Keep up the good work!)
any ways I can improve on this
@warm linden I can't view top farms of all time :(
Flowers!
rad that’s good just will you put in the spare spots?
@cedar tartan I'd recommend moving your barns and coops north a bit so u have more room for grass.
I might like bi-furious recomends and move the barns and coops up for more grass. Expand the bee houses to take over most of the bottom left. Then I don't know what I'll do with the rest of the open space, might just leave it open to add stuff incase of future updates.
ya probably add one of each fruit tree just to the right of the other trees
and then might add a little hang out area just to the bottom left of the large pond
How do you you guys organize your mod folders? anyone got screenshots of in depth organized mod folders? can I make subfolders in mods? I want to start putting mods on my laptop but I dont want the mess like my mods are on my pc (so disorganized)
This channel is for the farm layout planner https://stardew.info. You should ask in #making-mods-general :)
Plan your Stardew Valley farm! ...on a coffee break!
I was gonna post my farm plan here but I'm not able to post images
Oh you just need to talk and level up then you can
oh ok
Has anyone tried completely redesigning their farm just using the game? Like having to measure and work everything out without using a planner?
I'm sure someone has
@jovial notch on my first farm I redesigned by hand on graph paper and planned crops by hands as well..
same!!
Trying out planner at the moment
Cool
Awesome! Is the scarecrow coverage good? I always plan good stuff but forget scarecrows and ruin the design to fit them in.
The planner will tell you how far the scarecrows cover
@gusty ocean the chests will probably block the junimos from coming out of the hut
i just discovered the planner and i'm obsessed 😂
@gusty ocean I forgot to mention. The hut themselves act as chests for storing stuff!
W h o o p s
I never got into late game so when I got to the hut I just improvised
Thanks for info
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m willing to make an educated guess that the likely launch of Switch Multiplayer will be around the launch of NSO (Nintendo’s paid online membership).
does the map planner not work for anyone else? i cant render the image
@tribal wagon do you have pop ups blocked? That was the problem for me for a long time.
It probably won't be that soon Wolfy since CA recently said he don't have a release date yet but would let everyone know when he does
@gloomy pine probably a bit late, but here's mine: https://upload.farm/1FZbU9
@rigid grail ill check, thank u!
@iron nexus that's awesome thanks man, i have already made one though ;p
Whan you guys are using the planner, and you have additional shipping boxes on your property, whatare you using to mark where they are because I dont see shipping container listed as an item
Maybe just use a flooring?
@plush swallow you are probably thinking about a stardew upload from someone's actual game save not a stardew map planner
@plush swallow crystal flooring works well since i don't use it for normal things...
Is there a way of redesigning my farm or should I start from scratch?
Total newbie in this
Yes, you can move buildings by talking to Robin and any other stuff you place can be moved or destroyed
I just used cjb stuff and made my farm go 💥
I mean, you can just use bombs :P
I was using stardew planner and finally finished my ideal farm and downloaded it as a fall preview, i then didn't think and closed the planner and so didn't have the grid version of it anymore is there anything i can do
That really sucks. I don't think so. The planner saves based on unique urls rather than cookies (so you're not limited in number of plans). To save some time, you can upload your current farm so you're not starting from scratch.
Did you save at any point before closing? Because if you did you can recover that from your history.
I use switch version. I didn't know you could save, its not too bad since i have the "pretty" version of it its just that i dont have the grid so i cant really know where to exactly put things and i have to base it off of whats been placed already
i saw it being used but it was my first time using it myself
i didn't pay attention to the buttons at the top
Ah ok. And yeah, there's a save button that will change the url and then you can bookmark it
well then
I thought there was a way to import a .farm into the planner
Pretty sure you just go right to the planner
It's a blue button that says upload when you mouse over it
Oh that also works then
I am having a lil trouble with Stardew Valley Planner. I was doing a plan for the layout and mod Immersive Farm 2 and It wouldn't allow me to render it. :/ It is okay if no one can figure it out I just screenshooted it non rendered
Yeah, the rendering that the planner does is actually just exporting your plan to https://upload.farm/ which doesn't support modded maps. Maybe you can contact the people that work on upload.farm and see if that's something they would consider adding?
I may look into it, but its not a big deal. I just wish if they added it on there they should have had it correctly done. Hopefully that didnt sound rude, i am very tired at the moment
Maybe there's a way @warm linden could have a warning pop up if you try to render a moddded farm layout?
Just so you know, grass won't grow on the green tiles, so that may get expensive early game with grass starters. It looks good though! I would say adding paths would be the next step
I know there's a mod that allows for grass to grow anywhere on your farm
This is my plan so far with my bf. But i decided i moved the silo's by the water all the way to the right
Wow, what map is that?
Its a mod map
If you put your lightning rods in vertical rows they'll be a lot easier to collect from and take up less space. What are you plans for the empty space on the right?
ooh neat
Mhmm
You have the space for something like an orchard too if you want
Oh nice
you can plant trees on the tiles
Tiles? In the greenhouse you mean?
You can plant trees on any tiles in 1.2 (on console), and only on tiles that aren't taken up by an object in 1.3 (on PC).
That shows which tiles have objects and which don't
Assuming you use iridium sprinklers, what's the best way to maximize large crops
@night eagle Wait, why are the tree/sprinkler icons outside what you’d think would be the planting area? Is that a mod that lets you plant anywhere?
nope, p certain you can put those just about anywhere in the greenhouse
That's just the optimal sprinkler layout. You can only plant inside that area, but the sprinklers can go anywhere.
Hey
Hi
I plan to do stuff
Ok
What stuff? @trail wadi
stardew-stuff
Just a question, is there any tool that will easily make a screenshot of a farm even if the farm map you're using (modded) is not popular? Basically I made my own farm. Standard size but unique layout. Any chance theres a tool that wont give me errors and print out a map?
I do know i could take multiple screenshots and stich them together, but thats plan B
@glass horizon : the Map Image Export mod will output a farm map as it looks in-game, including any other mods in effect. https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1073
so, i played a bit with the planner and thought of making my farm like this. can you tell me how i can improve? this is still just a plan. it will take a long time for me to get this exact farm but i kinda like this idea.
Keep in mind you only need one space between regular trees, so you can fit more of those. Just the fruit trees need two spaces between them. Don't forget you'll need some lightning rods as well. You might want a sprinkler for the flower in the bee hive section too, I don't know if that convenience would be worth swapping out a bee hive for or not. Also, it looks like you have two stables, but unless this is a multiplayer farm (and I don't see a cabin), you only need one of those.
Yup, it is multiplayer and I just found out that you can’t destroy cabins. But can you remove it if you marry the other player in multiplayer???
Hmmm, I'm not sure
Hi everyone|!
@weak charmYou can destroy cabins on a multiplayer farm
Hewwo. I have a small issue but I'm not sure if it's just me. When using the planner's layout for the community farm, I have to actually zoom my browser out to see it all, is that normal?
@tawdry swallow thank you!
Hello @vestal jungle, welcome to the server! Be sure to check #445729591533764620 for a bunch of helpful info
@gloomy pine Yes, because the farm is bigger than the normal maps, you'll have to scroll around or zoom out. You also won't be able to render any of the modded farms because upload.farm doesn't support any of those.
Thank you @haughty cliff Ill try that 😃
Cool that works well. I used it on my most heavily modded install, no errors 👍
Obviously its a custom map with extra fast grass growth and stuff but still.
is it meant to not show the entire thing? or am i doing something wrong
i just used the mod mousey linked yesterday and typed " export current " in the console
nah thats ok
on the planner it never shows the full buildings
just incase you want to put something behind them
and it just makes it easier
it'll show the whole object (and proper shapes of connected fences, etc) as it appears in game when you export the image
It just shows the hit box
@glass horizon You can connect paths and place fence gates on top so the path doesn't have a break. Also, I think it would look better if you moved the fence at the top of the animal area down one and extended it past the silos and then made the path above two wide there to match the other horizontal path you have.
I think I'll do more stardew stuff
Go for it!
Stardew stuff is fun
Hi everyone!
Hello, welcome to the server!
HI, welcome layth!
Hi welcome to the server
I’m pretty new to stardew valley, I have two farms, my second one I created to use the item glitch so I could just create my ideal farm. So don’t be surprised if I don’t know what you guys are talking about most of the time 😅
@lament tapir you should do Stardew stuff
???
(@lament tapir You leveled up to Villager! You can now join voice chat and all public channels. See #445729591533764620 for more info. Keep up the good work!)
Thanks mayor Lewis :))))) lol
I plan to do Stardew-stuff
This is my first playthrough of the game, so far this is what iv done. I still plan to add the yellow X area and shed
Im on fall 6 year 2 and just comp. the community centre
ooh, creative way to plan around the lake
Thx 😃
Scarecrows are in the pic, hard to see lol
I didnt add the rods in the pic but i do have 10 placed around the farm
AH I SEE THEM derp
Which map is that? @lost vigil
Oh that's a stardew planner thing
But how do you get that layout, I likey
It’s the wilderness one
That one has monsters?
Wilderness @full pumice
Yup with monsters
I made the layout up myself. I used the planner to help figure it out
I suck at combat doe ;_; the layout of the farm is very nice though. If I'm ever going to do something other than the basic one I'd go with Forest
Is there a mod that let's you change the farm layout of an already started save 🤔
cjb cheats at least
its fine cause if level 1 combat only slow things and slimes
Thanks! No rush, I'm going to bed for the night. It's one of those things that'd be nice to know 😄
I am kinda new to this discord but I just made a plan for the combat layout and want to know what others think of it!
Thank you !! 😊
I am glad to be here!
Definitely looks clean!
Good just depending on your needs more sheds?
finding somebody to play with. i'm a beginner
I plan to do stuff
Yeah, you said that before Totoro
@gloomy pine Welcome to the server! And that's a great layout! My only suggestions would be that you can put paths beneath fence gates if you want, you may want to have more beehives than four, and they mayo and cheese machines are pretty far from your coop and barn and you may find you're spending a bunch of time going from one to the other, but that may not be an issue for you.
Please keep chat stuffs in the appropriate channel :)
I plan to do things in appropriate channels
So what are you planning on doing with your farm @trail wadi? Do you have any photos of it to share?
Then what are you planning on doing with your farm @trail wadi?
this channel is for farm plans using stardew planner, after all, as stated in the description
Hello guys, idk if im the good chan for asking this, but someone use TIDE? because Im on mac and I cant download it, I need someone to recolor something on my map, if someone use TIDE pls dm me thx ^^ (sry for my english tho)
better place to ask would probably be #making-mods-general tbh, @white merlin
ok ty
ive been getting this message whenever i try to render it for over a year now.. anyone know why?
Are you using modded map?
what do you think about my mining farm?
I'm actually really impressed, I'm always trying to plan sections bounded by the landscape and you just went "MORE PLANTS ACROSS THE RIVER" so GOOD JOB
I'm with Iris, matteo. That looks excellent!
I love the little plots too
it's really cute
maybe add some hives for all those flowers
@trail wadi Consider this a verbal warning for rule 1, seriously. Your entire history here has literally only been shit-posting and repeating that you are going to just "Do things" over and over. We have a place for low quality posts and it's the #images-and-memes, and if you've no interest to contribute anything that is vaguely related to the channels topic, then I suggest you don't say anything at all in #farms-and-outfits.
🤭

Rood
@gloomy pine I LOVE it, so cute. However I'd recommend putting down some lightning rods, perhaps north of the shipping bin. In addition, if you're not using the quarry (which is not very useful late game), you could plant trees, place machines, or build buildings.
I'd recommend planting an orchard of tapper trees
You can't just pufferping a mod like that :P
And don't forget a stable or two (looks like you have a cabin there) @gloomy pine
Matteo that farm looks so nice dude keep up the good work!
@warm linden im using the hill top forect
upload.farm does not support community maps and thus is unable to render it for you. If you wish to have a game-like rendering, use one of the official maps.
i tried to improve it as much as i can. I hope you like it

it looks peaceful there 😃
How do I upload my farm plan here?
@placid rose most upload there farm to upload.farm then post the picture.
Looks great Matteo! Keep in mind that if you want to plant crops or flowers on grass you'll need to be using a mod
when i get bored at night i like to make planned farm ideas hhhhh
lol but i misplace things cause im tired LOL
@compact locust that looks really cool!
An effective mountain farm
Those are cool! I've never seen those maps before I don't think
Modded
I really like the first one over the second personally, its really comfortable. Also if you want a cool walkway idea try making a mixed walkway out of cobblestone, stone step and crystal. It makes a very nice contrasted look
@gloomy pine
@kind abyss ooh love ur spoopified name and pfp
What would happen if I put in a map mod when I an already on year 2? Would my stuff be okay as long as there weren't any ponds or anything like that where my stuff is?
Yes, basically.
Your stuff may end up on top of cliffs and ponds and stuff, but you can go back and remove stuff and then try again if that happens.
Okay. I saw a map mod for a mega farm, mostly for MP, but wanted to use it for myself just to have LOTS of crops. xD
any buildings you could move probably on the new map
If anyone uses the Immersive Farm 2 mod, could you please share a screenshot of your farm with me please? I'm thinking of using it but want an idea of how it looks fleshed out with stuff.
^ me too
Just posted this on the Farms subreddit. It's for a four-player farm but hopefully it provides some inspiration. ^^
Not a screen shot but still something
@winged thunder I'm using that same map ! 😮 its is a very pretty farm but can this modded farm map be used on the planner ? I know only a handful can
That does help some, thank you. 😃
@gloomy pine I'm pretty sure that is the Immersive Map 2 which is a supported map on the planner.
😄 Woooo, I can get to planning for my farm then
My main multiplayer farm (Winter, Year 3)
Crop used to be ancient fruit
1000 or so per harvest
and all sheds are filled with 67 kegs
plus some on outside
Let me know what you guys think 😃
My forest farm in spring, year 3
Damn
Gold clock, both totems
I also like your A E S T H E T I C
it looks very clean and pretty
How hard is it to get the person who owns the farm planner site to add another mod map? Or like, what does that even take?
probably very hard, depends on how they do it
He'll need a full size image of the map without anything on it I believe. @warm linden can clarify :)
I don't think it's that much work though, but he'll probably want more than a single request before adding anything.
Yeah, I thought as much. I was going to use the .tbin file to make a "fake" layout but my programs are all broken and don't wanna open anything atm ._ .
Your programs are broken? That doesn't sound too good. Maybe contact the mod creator and see if they have one?
And welcome to the discord! :)
tIDE and tiled, for modding. the mod creator seems to have disappeared from the nexus a long time ago, someone else converted it to content patcher
Ah ok
And thanks lol. I forget this is here so... I never post haha
Well you should post more if you remember :P
Looks good @tired tinsel! The other people on your farm may want stables though, unless you're just using the cabins as fancy sheds. And you missed a spot with your pathing to the left of the center pond.
yea usually when im playing with a friend, they take my horse so i just warp to places with CJB cheats
ive walked through the bus stop too many times
Ah, alright
also i have no idea where to place more stables
so yea the cabins are just fancy sheds
except for 1
Yeah you'd have to cut down some trees by the cabins and plant more over by the slime hutch
oh yea that picture is outdated, i took it on spring 3 but its like spring 14 currently
there is a shed next to the slime hutch
since i need more kegs
sheds
Well you could fit some more trees up top to the left of the greenhouse. But if you don't really need the stable, don't worry about it
@sharp flower Not nearly enough kegs
@gloomy pine yeah i believe its there, you cant render modded maps though
oops that was probably an old message sorry lol
any1 use riverland? i wanna place my slime hutch somewhere that's not the bottom left corner cos thats ugly
its not very pretty unmodded and in the fall but i'm really enjoying this farm set up
That's... A lot of bee hives
i really like honey!
I'm a fan 8) neat
I like it! I think having separate pastures is a bit more realistic :)
@obtuse ridge You can use the map image export mod so that all your visual mods show up when you share your farm
oh thanks! i did not know that
I want to see how it looks with the mods 😄
soon! i have 4 more things to build then ill post it 😃
hmm i cant seem to find where its saving the files for the uploader now. I read the comments on the mod it said C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\MapExport but when i searched for that nothing came up
its not in my game folder. i uploaded that and nothing was modded
In the mods folder, inside the mapexporter folder?
there is the manifest.json, mapimageexporter.dll, and mapimageexporter.pdb
in a different mapexporter folder in the game folder?
thats the only mapexporter folder that i know of
Go to your game directory and look for a subfolder called MapExport
Map Export images are different than the planner uploads though
Yeah...
oooh
Does anyone have a good and simple design for a starting farm
Not sure what you are looking for @gloomy pine, but here is my current playthrough where I am only clearing the land as needed. This was late Fall year 1.
https://upload.farm/static/images/4/1FiyiV/1FiyiV-m.png
And this is where I was in Winter Year 2. I've stretched the barn pasture and will be upgrading to a second barn while moving the hay field underneath the pasture. The coop has chickens until spring when I with sell them off and work towards a coop of crystallariums. The barn next to it is filled with kegs. I'll let the bottom left overgrow with trees again and Grandpa's shrine is in the middle of a makeover.
https://upload.farm/static/images/5/1G87AK/1G87AK-m.png
Looks great Pookachu! I only just noticed there's one silo, how do you handle hay?
@night eagle i have the big silo mod it allows up to 280,000 pieces of hay per silo 😃
https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/2429 heres the link to it
That explains it!
Just a bit of hay
Only 280k hay
if i did the math right, if you have 10 fully upgraded animal houses, each filled with animals, you can last 20.8 Stardew Valley years without needing to buy/get more hay. And this doesnt even include them eating grass
Lol
best part is you can just get hay and put it in there no need to harvest grass
idk maybe you can do that with non-modded silos too i just never tried to i got the mod
Who on earth would build 1167 non modded silos to store 280k hay
I
if i had that much space
You can put hay into a silo I believe
So a chest next to a silo is better than two silos. Two silos block out much space. Plus the chest holds more 8)
You can put hay into the silos via the hopper. You can remove hay, via the hopper, only if there is an empty space in the feeder.
i decided to squish the winery's closer together and extended the crop area.
What's those houses mod?
@gloomy pine Looks like Eemiestardew's "Victorian Era Buildings" with mangoruffy's "CP Seasonal Victorian Cabin"
It looks like you're still using the basic sprinklers? You could save a lot of space if you upgraded
Also for the top left of the hut, if you did crops then sprinklers, you'd save on a column of sprinklers. Just go
C(S)CC(S)C. It leaves one extra column. But the same crop yield for one less column of sprinklers
And the last row could be a path to keep stuff symmetrical
What do ya think? Sorry about the quality, I kind of pasted screenshots together since not everything is on the online planner.
these are the insides of the sheds
looks pretty good
@plush swallow u can also use MapImageExporter mod https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1073
cool thanks
no need to merge screenshots
yea that will be helpful haha
Maybe add some junimo huts?
I. Think if you want to min max, you could reduce the number of rpinklers you use by at least 1 through rows. Like you're using 7, and you could use 6, if I'm counting right
I need some suggestion about the left side of my farm plan
I'm using "Automate" mod btw
Beehives or crystalariums?
When I have extra space on my farm I like to make a garden with a ton of flowers and beehives
Or kegs if your sheds aren't full of those
Yeah, I'd also suggest beehives and flowers, or the other two types or trees. I'd also move the silos to the side of the farm, but that's just me.
@haughty cliff Hi, I saw your map and thought is wonderfull, now i have a question, how did you do the grass under the trees and in the maze, couse I've always wanted to do it around the lake.
grass starters
Looks like they're using a mod @celest wind, you can't change that normally.
That's what I thought, but since im just starting with the multiplayer patch I wanted to be sure, thanks a lot for answering!!!!!
No problem! And welcome to the discord :)
where the fuck did I get a harp
A harp? What do you mean?
like probably that abigail cutscene
bit late, but I'll definitely fill that space with them bees. the "empty" right side is reserved for either shed or MP home. most likely shed and replace the center space with MP home, if I do want to do MP
Don't worry, there's no expected response time on discord :P
This is my current farm. I am looking for suggestions on what to do with the left side. The bottom left use to have my hay field but that has since been moved (where all the torches are). The barn and coop near the pond (will) have kegs and crystallariums, respectfully. Grandpa's shrine should look pretty nice with the paths once the trees grow. Originally I was going to let the old hay field overgrow but now I'm not sure. Looking for suggestions and critics!
Well if you have any interest in a slime hutch that would take up a fair amount of the space
I've never built a slime hutch before. I would be something to consider, especially now that iridium seems easier to come by in the caverns.
@celest wind As someone else said, it is a mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/2726
Slime hutch is eh
Slime industry is weird.
With just one hutch, you are barely able to make bank
To make bank faster you need multiple hutches,
but then, you need more eggs first
made a new farm thanks to @tired tinsel help getting rid of that lake i expanded out my crops (yes thats how i want them layed out)
I really like that crop layout! Is the bottom section of crops five rows or six? If it's five you can gain a few crops spaces by cutting down on sprinklers
its 6
i wasnt too worried about crop count because i have an extended greenhouse full of ancient fruit as well even with 3 winery's ill be swimming in wine waiting to get into casks
Ah ok
One thing I love about your farm @obtuse ridge, is all of the Raccoon scarecrows!
😃 i love those so much haha
i know this gets asked a lot but i'm going back and not finding too many examples... anyone have good foraging maps to share?
Don't worry. It's not asked too much.
Usually people fill foraging area with trees and the rest is normal
thanks! i think i'm mainly struggling with where to put the barn and coop since fewer tillable spaces means fewer places to put grass
Hey just wondering, does if fruit tree grow when planted in the edge of cliff/right next to cliff?
(@topaz schooner You leveled up to Villager! You can now join voice chat and all public channels. See #445729591533764620 for more info. Keep up the good work!)
im pretty sure they don't grow in that position, only regular trees do
I know the usual tree grows there, but I'm not sure about fruit tree
Oh alright, thanks for the answer
Just to be clear, will the fruit tree grow if I planted it in the place where the weed are? Or will it only grow if it's in the stone one?
They only need one space free around them, don't they?
Edge spaces should be fine, I think. Not sure what the tiledatas are, but I think they are far enough away not to matter anyway.
Alright thanks
you could also check by placing flooring. if you could place flooring on the "edge", then it should grow on the weed spot
@topaz schooner I have found that the game (at least 1.3) is good about not allowing you to plant saplings where they cannot grow due to the map.
looking for suggestions on what to put if anything in the open section near the mushroom boxes i was going to put trees on either side of the path but only one tree fits.
is that a greenhouse mod?
its so big! I have the layout that comes with the immersive farm 2 mod and I thought that was big. Maybe you can add like kegs or something for wine?
thanks (:
idk I suck at planning
(@fluid plinth You leveled up to Villager! You can now join voice chat and all public channels. See #445729591533764620 for more info. Keep up the good work!)
yeah lol i like to put things down and then fiddle with them.. not ideal with mushroom boxes i have some out on my farm now that are forever stuck where i plopped em
Welcome to the discord minimalsimlish! Hope I got that name right :P
Hmm, that's a pretty small space. Maybe beehives if you can plant crops there, or just decoration stuff, like statues you can get from the night market or stuff like that
i thought beehives didnt work inside?
ye beehives only work outside
i went with potted flowers, decorative barrels, and stepping stones
👌
okay, took the first 4 days of spring, but I think I finally have my farm how I want it (for now haha)
(gotta upload a version with my mods later)
Sorry, I was just assuming since it looked like an outside area the mod had coded it to be one, but maybe that's not possible. It looks good though!
oh idk i never thought of that i just assumed it was "greenhouse" so indoors i might have to plop one down and see if i get honey
im pretty sure i just replaced the XNB files for this one
yea no way u can put beehouses then
I use this for my greenhouse. I love it since I use More Trees and have so many to plant. xD I use the XNB version of the mod, which I know it outdated. But it works. https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/739
I thought about using that one but i really liked the water features in the one in currently using i just wish the layout was more sprinkler friendly
Agreed. I don't know why most aren't. Unless they were meant to be used with mods that change the radius of sprinklers. Which is a little silly
i was thinking about trying the new line sprinkler mod for in there
I've been debating the mod that increases the range of iridium sprinklers, or the one that adds cobalt items into the game. Not sure if either one has been updated though. xD
i would love a mod that put sprinklers on the ceiling of the greenhouse but i imagine that would be difficult to make and have work with the various greenhouse layouts
That would be super, but yah. Too many layouts to work with. xD
Unless it was some kind of upgrade or stand-alone item. Like how you can use a mod to make the auto-grabber work within a whole map area. Let the item work within a whole map and it will water any size greenhouse. Even one like I use that has two-floors and 4 rooms total. i would just need four items. xD
oh i love that idea!
I can sometimes come up with good ideas. Executing them....not so much.x D
Thinking about changing the area around the mushrooms to the stepping stones... what do you guys think? (also beehives indeed do not work in here but i like how they look there so i kept them)
Yeah I think the stepping stones would look good. Is it a lot of work to switch it over? Often it's hard to tell what it will look like until you make the change
its a bit of work but i think ill give it a go 😃
what do you think? it definitely lightens the area up
@hidden silo, I recommend the prismatic tool mod, as I've heard the cobalt mod maker recommends it as they've stopped supporting theirs
I always had bad luck with getting those shards. Without a cheat mod I doubt I'd get enough for my farm. xD But I'll keep it in mind, thanks
@obtuse ridge How do you build custom greenhouses?
You'll need the this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/841
Thanks.
sorry i was offline last night dealing with a family emergency but yeah thats the mod i use 😃
Hope everything is alright there Pookachu
thanks
The Pookachu Princess house @mighty cedar has built me 😃 I think there's about 5-6 different mods built into it
gotta use all that you can to make a perfect house! 😂
some day we might get the extra bedroom upstairs figured out!
oh didnt farmhouses enhanced have an extra upstairs room?
ah it has a bottom bit though
i think we couldnt get rid of the spouse room and get the extra bedroom upstairs
all the images i see that have the extra room also have the spouse room except one and that one might be pre-marriage it doesnt really say
@obtuse ridge I checked the download files and it seems like there's an option for no spouse room 👍
!!!!!!!!!!
oof
farmhouses expanded alternate > open the folder to get the choices inside
"[CP] Farmhouses Expanded Alternate No Spouse Rooms"
still working out a few kinks for the bed in the extra room upstairs but this is so amazing!
@mighty cedar is a god
House is lookin great and fancy! Im glad I was able to help! 😄
thank you so much ❤
you're very welcome! 😃
Hello! I am new here and I need some advice on how to import a layout from my game
I play the steam version and I don't know exactly where to look for the save file
do you run mods you want to show or just the regular game?
you can use the farm uploader https://upload.farm/
if you use mods you'll need to get the map image exporter mod which does not use the save files
Hey @tidal haven! Welcome to the discord!
If you're playing on PC you'll find your save by hitting windows key+R and entering %APPDATA%\StardewValley\Saves
And on mac, from finder hit command+shift+G and type ~/.config/StardewValley/Saves
As far as I know the mac location works for linux too, I just don't know the quick way to get to a folder on that os
Ok thanks guys!
I’m just trying to get everything better organized because right now my farm is just ‘I guess I’ll put it here...’
Wasting all my time when instead it could be efficient
(@tidal haven You leveled up to Villager! You can now join voice chat and all public channels. See #445729591533764620 for more info. Keep up the good work!)
Well do feel free to share it here if you need any help! :)
Not the greatest organization...😓
I have no mods installed and it's rather bare-bones because if I have nothing to work off of, being pretty is an afterthought
i think you should move the shed that is infront of the backwoods (north exit) closer to your greenhouse
its pretty good start otherwise
i think the most important thing is figuring out what you want to do on your farm
crops, animals, both?
I have both.
I do a little bit of everything
all my crops that continue production (fruit trees, berries, hops, grapes, etc.) are all in the greenhouse
oh yeah i see the barns now 😃 im all blurry eyed from being on the pc all day
I HAD all my non-fruit trees on a grid over on the east side in front of the house but I guess there's seeds everywhere
i'll post you a screenie of one of my farms
thx!
I finally caught a sturgeon and destroyed capitalism after completing the community center
so now I thought I might get around to making my house and farm functional and pretty
oh really?
this one is more animal then crop each breed has their own paddock. enough crop space to keep the winery's going
i still continue the capitalism
trying to destroy pierre, gus, and sandy and every merchant out there
if you wanted more crop space less beehives could be had
@obtuse ridge I see you went with standard farm
are those big buildings the sauvignons are something?
I decided i had to be spooky and got a cliff and weird lakes messing up my space
yeah they are 😃
i should play some modded
this is my current farm its more crop then ive ever had
i mean i already do
where do your animals go?
anyways i should be playing more, only 365 hours
i think im up to 900 hours lol
ah I thought the red buildings were barns
those are winery's from a mod
even with an expanded cellar theres not enough cask room to handle that load of ancient fruit crop
I have so many strawberries and blueberries... and I only keep the normal quality ones
lol u need a bigger cellar mod
I would mod but I currently play on a shitty laptop while I try to accumulate enough real money to build my own desktop
mods dont really affect load times
yeah that
if they do they affect it by like 0.00001 sec
I'm not super concerned with stardew load times
unless you download like a map 5x as big
stardew is pretty low key
but my laptop does this awesome thing that if my wireless mouse is ON at any point during startup, everything on it stutters
k what is this laptop lol
and after awhile itll start doing that anyway
a chromebook?
yea that sounds like trashware
they don't make this computer anymore
graphics card prices are at a all time low rn
(@tired tinsel You leveled up to Farmer. You're now a prettier shade of blue. Thanks for sticking around!)
😄
but it's the only computer i have and i've had it after getting it as a graduation 'present' with the prerequisite that i go get a job first
i had to earn my high school graduation gift
by getting a job
i would be expecting more if i were to graduate rn
i've had this thing for almost 6 years and it still mostly works
and i have no other computer soooo
anyway
need help with farm layouts
here's mine
forest farm i see
i like the extra hardwood
noice
not anymore since i covered them up
Anything specific you need help with krankikaiti?
Here’s mine (it’s like 1-2 ingame months old)
The circles are from when I was asking what to put there
thats cute!
@kind abyss Maybe a mill or more fruit trees?
The right most circle, you can turn into twitch logo

Hi krobus
is this unrealistic
i already have the barn/coop areas set up, all i need to do is rearrange sprinklers and junimo huts
but idk if it's too much
seems to be fine for me
it'll be really annoying on day 1
makes sure you have tiled decay mods, so you could actually tile everything in winter
also, I recommend making more shed, unless you're going for agriculture route vs artisan
@tardy garnet it looks doable! Trees will grow on short grass so you may consider moving what I presume are tappers. There might also be bushes in the exact location of the silos but it's close enough.
Make sure to place paths under your sprinklers so you don't knock them up with your hoe. I tend to hoe-water-plant for each hoe swing. And I didn't see any scarecrows so be sure to add those in!
does placing path under sprinkler actually makes it immune from hoe? 🤔
