Got my old switch pro with the chewed off joystick (thanks dog) sitting right here. Plug it in, get the USB chime, shows up in devices and steam

when i launch stardew valley with discord open, the music/sound is really staticy and laggy. For some reason if i turn my computer on before discord is open the game will open and run perfectly fine. Its as soon as i launch discord, if i close and reopen the game it will have laggy music. I know I can run the game in compatibility mode and it runs fine. But the I want to use mods and that wont work obviously. I dont really want my solution to me "keep discord closed permanently" and i cannot find anything about it online so if theres anyone smarter than me that has some insight i would love some help 🙂

hey so i have a a weird technical question.

i am turkish but i play a modded version of stardew valley and not all mods are compatible with the language
and i usually play multiplayer, so i use the ingame chat with my friend. but the problem is that turkish characters dont work in chat when i use the english version of the game, which is understandable.
is there a way that i can fix this? even if it is overly technical/involves modding

Are there any mods/a way to add touchscreen support for the windows version? I very much enjoyed playing on the Android version with touch and auto attack etc and would like that on my Windows tablet with the latest game version. I cannot carry around a controller with the tablet as others suggest.

You need to unzip all your downloaded files into the "Mods" folder in your game folder, which should be found at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley for you

I could really need some help. I started playing Stardew in GamePass on PC but want to Switch to the Steam Version. Me and my friends played on our Farm for well around 50 hours so we tried to copy it to Steam. The Farm as it is copied well and the Host (my Friend) can play as his Farmer but if me or my other friend wants to join we cant select our Character because of the missing permission. Hope there is a fix for this cause of the lack of motivation to restart from scratch...appreciate every help i can get 🙂

Hey guys. I got my hands on a Steam Deck yesterday, but Stardew of all games seems to uh. Be using 100% of my GPU (per the Deck-integrated overlay) periodically. It’s not dropping frames, but it is dropping inputs. In multiplayer the person helping me test had no issues, I was just confirmed to be input dropping because it properly looked like my character was just standing there. Has this issue occurred for anyone else running Linux or using the Steam Deck?

hi everyone,

Ive been having issues with a stutter every 5-15 seconds.

I think i may have stumbled onto a solution i wanted to share.

I play on PC with a controller with the latest SMAPI installed.

I tried all the basics, uninstalled smapi and mods, and rebooted. Did the control panel priorty settings and affinity CPU 0 uncheck all with no luck.

When I launched SDV with SMAPI and mods reinstalled, I had FORGOTTEN to plug in my controller and noticed the game is running fine.

I just tested and found that conversely, when the controller was plugged in first and then launched SDV, the lag returned.

I feel this may be an issue with big picture mode, which i went ahead and disabled on my end and have not had any issues since.

Not sure how many other people are getting any stuttering issues, but i have also not played since like 1.2 or something.

Please feel free to share this as needed

There isn't a planned update to our knowledge to anything but pc (and mobile) at the moment. Maybe after pc gets 1.6? The main focus has been the new game and well the "modders update" as I'm calling it for pc

Hey there, i wanted to play some SDV today and when i clicked launch(Steam, Windows10) it said "Running" then 5 seconds later closed. The game didnt show up at all, no crash messages or anything.
