When you install smapi it tells you a launch option for steam that will run it through just Stardew

And that way you also get achievements

Since my computer did not have enough proficiency, I logged into the game with the compatibility mode and had my friends that I will play with download the compatibility version, but while my friends can connect to the server together, I cannot connect. When I try to connect, I get the error that my friends are playing a different game than me, please help

The Mac multiplayer issue should now be resolved. If you noticed a tiny update on Steam, it was related to that.

Probably not if you have no clue when you deleted it, if you are on PC you can check the save backups but if your either not on PC or it's not their you are out of luck

Hello! I need some assistance in fixing my resolution. I just recently reinstalled the game and for some reason, the title screen is all messed up. The switch version requires a patch for the community board glitch. It freezes for a period of time and the game is unresponsive when you go to read it. After it unfreezes, you can go about your game, but it will freeze again if you are standing in the wrong spot at the community board. Also, split screen multiplayer had a glitch where it has a random 2-3 second stutter

Find your save files.
You should see two files with an _old suffix in the name; if not, ask for help instead!
Back up your save folder just in case.
Delete SaveGameInfo and the file that looks like YourName_123456789.
Remove the _old suffix from SaveGameInfo_old and the file that looks like YourName_123456789_old.

have got the Stardew Valley expanded version working, used the link for PyTK update, everything seems OK except when I try to enter Wizard tower have black entry and just get popped back out again. Is it a glitch with Romanceable Rasmodius? Can just delete it if so. Annoying even if not wanting to romance them.
