So midway bundle, then my bright self enters joja and does his contract excavations that costs money. The community center looked half down, as if walmart stopped by and dumped old soda pop cases everywhere
And it removed the meteor which seemed weird too
But we happily made a new file and almsot finished our bundle now, was wondering if what i experienced was a bug cause if not, we could always go back to that file also in the future

Yeah you either go with bundles or with joja, if you finish it from joja the community center will be converted into joja storage building or something, it's just the storyline

I don't think any of the mods have anything to do with Robin's building shop menu though. And I don't know all of the mods, it's part of a server pack that was set up for me to host with on another server.

Anyone know why on iOS/MacOS devices... the game saves are stored locally on the device in files instead of right into the iCloud folder?
If I play my game on my iPad.. and want to pick up from my iPhone... I have to first on my iPad copy the save.... move it to iCloud... then go on my iPhone and move it from iCloud... into the iPhone local storage.
Same thing if I want to play my game on the Mac.
I don't understand why the game doesn't just store it iCloud directly like other apps do... so I can just play the game from any device without moving the save files around?
Really stinks when you get to lunch break at work and open up your phone to remember you that you never copied your progress from your iPad into "iCloud".
Just curious if there has ever been any discussion on this by anyone before...

My new pole made my Character Freeze and not move. I found out after 2:00 AM he would of passed out... but that is not what happen. The time never passed 2:00 AM so. i had to start my whole day over. Hello, after installing mods, my game takes a long time to load after clicking on the save file (20-30 minutes) and a few minutes at the end of every day.

Hi all! I have a problem with the Stardew Valley Expanded mod. Installed it yesterday and since my comp should be decent enough, I added the optional Grampleton Fields. Now I can find the road to this location(there's a sign saying "Grampleton Fields that way") but the road seems to lack a spot at the edge of the map to load the Grampleton Fields map. Everything else seems to work, I installed via ModDrop and made sure to add Grampleton as last installed. Is this a bug, do I need to change a config file somewhere to enable it or am I dumb and looking in the wrong place?

Is the silo glitch known?
It happened to me in two consecutive files. I build a silo and go cut some grass with the scythe and it never collects. I heard maybe you need an animal so I got a coop and a chicken and still nothing. I waited until Fall to when the grass changes color and still nothing. Two files in a row. It sucks because it's a lot of wasted time just getting to that point for the game to just stop working.

no, it's only going to delete temporary data like assets and codes that are only temporary
Restarting the switch does clear the cache, iirc, but I prefer doing it manually as well, as sometimes it can leave out some useless data

@hexed apex I think that might be the first Intel HD Graphics model from 2010 (see 8086:0046 on http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Intel_HD_Graphics). I suspect it's not compatible with the game, which needs newer GPU features (the "HiDef profile" mentioned in your error). It's hard to tell for sure though, since "Intel HD" covers a wide range of different devices mentioned in search results.

I could, but this was the third save file we tried it on that night. It just keep happening to us now. We've decided to just play like our farm doesn't have the right land for hay lol, but we'd still like to be able to enjoy the game correctly one day.
We have one that is almost in year 2, so I can see if changing years will fix it, and if not I'll redo the silo just to test.

ok so i went to open my game file and it wasn't there, so i checked in the files and the game file was empty, which means no matter what, there is no way to recover it? i checked the faq but i wanted to make sure,,
the file that ends in _old is still intact, if that helps

i'm not sure? and i dont think i have that installed. oh but i should i add that i just moved the original files somewhere else and got rid of the _old at the end and it works now, it only got rid of 1 day of progress? which is better than losing the whole file so i can't really complain

Yeah, the _old is your backup from the day before, basically. Sorry you lost the regular one :\ For the future, if you install SMAPI, it will also install a mod that backs up your saves for you, to give another fallback just in case.
If you want to look into that at some point, you can find instructions for how to install SMAPI for Windows/Mac/Linux on the wiki, like here https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Installing_SMAPI_on_Windows. You can also ask for help in #making-mods-general , there's usually someone around that can help walk you through it if you get stuck on something there :)

Bug: The UI randomly dissapears (I can't see the green square when I click, no energy or health bar, no toolbar, etc.) as I'm playing then I have to click randomly around my screen and it sometimes fixes. Other than that I have to reboot.
Sometimes it says that I have entered "Screenshot mode" and to turn it off by pressing "F4" but I can't as I am on Android.

Okay, so I think I found something pretty gamebreaking.
Whenever I go to bed in the game, the game doesn't actually save, and all settings are restored to default. I'm not sure what's going on. I tried this both modded and unmodded with the same results.
The game will say that it saved, play audio from the music for a half second, then turn it off (since I have it turned off), but when I go back to the main menu, the audio turns back on.

I think disabling weather effects would require a C# mod, since you can't edit the game code directly

It's a DS4 controller and it will let me move the cursor with the right joystick if I hold down the PS button, but it won't do anything else :d
