Your previous screenshot said it is. If you have downloaded the game illegally, it might be the cause of your problem. If you downloaded if from GOG, you can just uninstall if from your programs and applications and download it again!

I'd quit and reinstall SMAPI before continuing, then you should have the console commands mod again, which could have saved you.

Looks like you removed the default Console Commands and Save Backup mods. I'd suggest keeping those, they're useful if anything goes wrong.

If you can copy files off the iOS with it, it should work. You may need to rename the files on the PC after though.

Oh, the other way? That's perhaps more difficult, as the file management is probably much more awkward on that end, but possibly.

I'm not familiar with MacOS, but can you try reinstalling Mono separately from the .pkg download at https://www.mono-project.com/download/stable/? Homebrew might be installing a separate copy somewhere.

The version of Mono in Contents/MacOS/Mono is fine (changing those files may break the game).

I can't open SDV anymore. I click on play. It shows 2-3 seconds that I'm in the game and then it just goes back to blue like I am playing nothing (I play on Steam btw).

I tried the following already, without success:

• Re-installing the game
• checking for game errors

Got a question about a possible bug and if theres any fix to it? It's to do with heart levels

I got to the point where almost everyone is at the max heart level[8 for marriage candidates] and haven't even bought a bouquet to court anyone yet, but when I went late at night to the mountains I managed to activate Seb's 10 heart event.

I haven't even really talked to him recently outside of festivals.

So far no one else has had that trigger for them and now I'm worried this might mess things up for when I do go and court someone.

is there any way to fix this? not sure if it's a game bug, or if it's a mod bug, like I said it's the first I've seen it.

While a mod could be involved, there is a bug in the base game related to the two-gifts-per-week bonus that will let you reach 10 hearts without a bouquet.

Basically, there are two issues. First, the 8-heart limit isn't in effect until after you reach 8 hearts. So if they are at 7.9, a big increase like a loved birthday gift can bump them to almost 10

Then the 10-point bonus from two gifts in a week doesn't do any sanity-checking and can cause them to cross the 10-heart threshold. That's where the actual bug is

(it's just installer a driver, and maybe looking at how to clean your mouse online)

(make sure everything is up to date with your USB/Bluetooth AND mouse driver, and it should fix the issue if the mouse is brand new)

If it's too awkward of a position, you can rebind the action keys to other areas. I use j and k instead, as I play on a laptop too
