Welcome to the server Vegerotto, I believe the android version supports controls reasonably well, but it doesn't have complete support yet. And if you can connect the controller to your phone, the game supports that controller. Specific controller support is an OS level thing rather than per game afaik. No cloud save support

You can manually move save files around if you need to backup a save or something though

Random chance of it trying every night in Fall, and it looks at 10 random terrainfeatures to try to find a suitable tree... So the more paths, long grass, crops/tilled-dirt you have, the more likely it is to find those instead, instead of trees... But by increasing the number of trees you can reduce that.

If you had a farm that was completely empty except for trees, you'd pretty much automatically get a mushroom. But it's only a 5% chance of happening every night anyway.

Doesn't work how? Does the installer say it was successful, or does it give an error? Did you make sure to take the installer folder out of the zip, instead of running the install file from inside?

Anyone on? Having trouble joining friend's game. It says "No free slots on server" even though it's a fresh game and we've tried adding 1/2/4 extra cabins

Welp, still not sure what's causing it, but I did have SMAPI before, and as soon as I tried the vanilla exe I was able to join the game. Leaving this here in case anyone else has the same problem

[Edit] Disabled some mods, then I could use SMAPI again. Some mods are incompatible

I was playing through the Stardew Valley Expanded Mod and I was wondering if/when Mayor Lewis actually ever moves all the barrels out of the way? I'm in year two, and could use the plot space. If not it's no big deal but I was looking forward to utilizing it unless it comes out at a later update?

Just don't know if it's something that hasn't come out yet, or if I actually broke something.

Try this:

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods\[CP] Shiko NPC.
Open the content.json file in a text editor (Notepad is fine).
Delete this entire section: https://hastebin.com/niwevoyine.json.
See if the issue still happens.

oh wacky i can post here now. so uh everytime i try to boot the game, i get messages in smapi that content patcher cannot be loaded. i just installed a bunch of mods my friend sent me, but they work fine on her end. ive tried rebooting my game, and reinstalling content patcher from a fresh download but to no avail. i've also searched through the comments on the mod page but i cant seem to figure it out sorry! my log is here if that helps? https://log.smapi.io/mjrjExtj

if anyone has the SVE mod maybe you can help me out with this because well the developer of of the mod didn't help my with my question. To triggeer one of Abigales heart events you have to go to the lost woods,...only one problem, i have no idea where the lost woods might be and ive looked all over the the map to find it but no luck. Ive fallowed the install instructions down to the T and there's is no erros on my command prom so i want to know is there a side mod that add the lost woods or am i missing something?

hello - wondering if someone can help with Immersive Farm 2 remastered. I play on a mac. I successfully installed Stardew Valley Expanded and the game runs fine. I tried to add the Immersive Farm option (manual download from Nexus) and am getting an error from SMAPI (2.11.2) - These mods could not be added to your game Immersive Farm 2 Remastered 1.1.2 because it requires mods which aren't installed (FlashShifter.StardewValleyExpandedALL, FlashShifter.StardewValleyExpandedCP, Karmylla.ImmersiveMapsSVE). Thank you anyone who can help!

You have a zip as a backup now... Delete the SaveGameInfo and Rosa_214672889, then rename the SaveGameInfo_old and Rosa_214672889_old to remove the _old part.

That'll put you back to the start of the previous day, where you haven't levelled up yet.

Hey guys, just got this game and i can't seem to play it at all.
When i click Launch it says running and then goes back to normal after.

Go to the game directry, open a command prompt window there, and try launching "StardewModdingAPI.exe" from within that prompt

(shift right-click on the window should give that option although it might be called something about Powershell)

Unfortunately, the only other suggested fixes are a reset or clean reinstall of windows, which are pretty drastic if this is the only thing giving you problems

Hey, so me and a friend decided to try out SVE with Immersive Farm 2 Remastered [We're playing Multiplayer on the latest version available]. The problem that we're having seems to be the warps from other points back onto the farm. I.E. from the Forest back to immersive farm dropping us into the River instead of on the Bridge.

#

The warp from the bus stop back to the left seems to drop us in the old warp location instead of the new implied exit/entry location as well

#

Interesting to note is that single player did not give me this problem when I just checked it.

Hey all, I just got Stardew Valley for mobile and I am having the hardest time getting some help with an issue. I have the Essential PH-1 and when I go to launch the app, it asks for me to allow storage use, than crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, and the issue persists. Any advice?

So - I think I may have found a bug in multiplayer and I'm curious if anyone else has ever seen this

If I'm in skull cavern, bombing the place with megabombs, the light flash and item drop noises happen on the hosts screen as well

and occasionally when I blow up Iridium Nodes or Iridium bats, Prismatic shards will appear wherever he is, even though he's not in the cavern with me

The stone statues are teleport locations which is where you will arrive by using totems that you can craft when your foraging is high

A direct copy and paste is unlikely to work as it will rely on file data from different locations on your PC. I would suggest a reinstall if possible.

Saves

The game saves progress when the in-game day ends, i.e., when the farmer goes to bed, collapses from exhaustion, or collapses at 2am. All progress during a day is lost if the player quits the game without ending the day.

Okay so like the first time I played SDV was through someone else's steam account on steam-share or whatever so I could try it and see if I liked it. Then I ended up liking it (obvs) and bought it for myself later but since I downloaded it from their account it gave me all their saves? So I don't know if deleting their saves would delete it on their computer too

so i unlocked the bus on summer 20 of year 1 and its summer 25 now and i cant use it
when i go to the little ticket box thing, the prompt box "where would you like to go?" pops up, but the only option is "cancel"

I just came here to ask about my cutscenes are all forced on mobile android... no option like on pc. It walks me into sneaking in private areas of people's homes, really obnoxious. This last time it hijacked me from the sidewalk into abigail's bedroom room, then hijacked me into her mini video game, where I couldnt get out. I hate arcade games. There was a big X in upper right corner which did nothing to exit me from the minigame. Just horrible. Finally stopped to look it up online (no luck finding a way out online), and the game went into reload from waking up at 6am. Thank God. I will never walk by her house again.

Another weird thing is that when moving around my farm with no tool equipped sometimes I will randomly chop down a tree in one ax chop WITH NO AX EQUIPPED, which is really bad when part of my farm is a maple grove. And what if they were expensive fruit trees?
Does that happen on PC?

@full knoll thanks for reply. Yes, I am on android 1.9 and I will update to 1.25 which is current patch level.
I read the patch notes for all platforms and did not see bugs noted on cutscene skip button not working, or for sudden tree loss with no axe equipped. In version patch history notes, there are some bugs not described but only noted as "bug fixes". Anywsy, I will update today and hopefully not lose anymore trees.

Hey, currently unable to launch the game and was hopin someone here might be able to help me. When I launch, a "Stardew Valley.exe - Assert Failure" notification pops up. It seems like it might have something to do with Framework but I've tried reinstalling .net and xna. tried all other troubleshooting stuff i could find online, from making sure audio was plugged in, to deleting old files, to just reinstalling. I'll post a link to the error message down below. any help would be incredibly appreciated.

I think I did. I didn't find anything relating to .net framework under programs in control panel, so i googled how to repair/reinstall .net framework. Went to the "turn Windows features on or off" menu, disabled framework, and restarted pc. Did the same to reenable, I also tried disabling it this way and then using the offline installer to reinstall it. But if I am completely missing something here lmk

i understand. Would it be worth uninstalling the 2017 Redists to try and install the 2015s and then the 2017 versions on top?

looks like 2015 and 2017 share the same redist unlike all previous versions of it. explains why it was missing at least

(I'll go offline for today: know that stardew valley doesn't work with dual display, you NEED to disable/uninstall if for it to work. I hope it was your issue! if not, feel free to wait for someone else to help!)

Looks like you have several mods with problems, which may be fixed by updating. And yeah, probably something mod-related, and updating is an easy thing to try.
