I found out that Bait and [Fish] Bait work very similarly. They both raise the bite chance of all fish, but specified bite rate is increased by a wide margin. Bite rate and Bite speed are linked, meaning the higher Bite speed you have from types of bait and hooks, it also decreases trash by a large margin. Also, Jelly isn’t trash, it counts as a fish. The best bet for catching Jelly is using non-[Fish] Bait, and as high of bite-rate hook you can get, but the bite rate will only take trash out of the equation, not increase jelly catch specifically.
