#Hit

😘
D rank fits tho
I’ll stop before we both get modded
If you can read, which I’m doubting, you’ll see I leave that as bait
In the spirit of robust debate I’ll elect not to warn either of you for now, any further from either of you and it’s rule 1 🦆
If someone can answer this while remaining respectful, is there a need to level super past 1 prematurely? It seems like with good positioning one point is sufficient until late game
#✨game-moments message
Playing dabura makes me realize something
Some skills upgrade really improve damage. Some are range
Some are duration
And i would say s3 duration is the best.
I see hit as spy from teamfortess 2. And personally i think the strongest point for hit is when he can consistantly proc fear of death while not getting damaged back
Definitely better. Imagine hit as spy from tf2. Easily killed. Getting to get in and out faster makes you lives longer
Gwt mvp as Hit yet doesnt have highest data because game lack data
If there is data talking about how much cc you done on enemies people would appreciate hit mods
I would say i will be appreciate if game provides better data
I got mvp but only standout data i shows is assist. No cc equivalent to how times i slows enemies down. No teamfight join percentage.
That’s my thoughts on it. He does ok damage at best but it’s hard to respond to with the right build, so strategic barrier backstab/wicked could work and you just accept that his damage will be limited prior to wicked/in general.
But since he’s an assist merchant you can also get away with snowball and have a bit more damage presence. Really up to taste
Mine is strat. Solid barrier. Lbj
Because at the very least. I have one more evade than enemies. And if i got attacked by enemies they ruined combo
Double jump very valid
I prefer being fast and survive long enough in teamfight to proc my fear of death than being squishy and trade 1 for 1
I tried @carmine orchid method before but it hard. Despite longer s1 range from priority and skip level. It diminish hit ability to be consistant. He turns into long range poker who cant help teammate because one he got in he cant get out
Or have s3 duration long enough for enemies let guard down
you can use it melee
especially because skills do more damage the closer you are, any skill, any champion
is like 2x damage from level 1 to 3
so is 2x damage melee
My Hit dont do melee and clearly stay visible for enemies to counter him
......
Element of surprise is better
Why you priotize damage as hit
I just do what hit seem to do best
You can try mine if you interest
Always priority s3. But get s1 lvl 2 when reach level 7
this channel....
Different playstyle is good on one character
Makes game less rigid
So yeah i could see when max s1 is better
I tend to grab s1 s3, s2 super, then s1 s3 s1, then decide on a second point in super based on the last time I used it. If it’s off cd I’ll grab it, else second point in s2 and then super - s2. No point in upgrading something that’s going to be on cd when the next fight happens when you can grab it next level
But definitely super start s1
Two point s3 feels right
let him pick useless upgrades, again noone cares
not beeing able to use s3 level 1 in a 2 meters lane is a skill issue
maybe it fixes it
It’s not so much about the size of the lane as it is about expanding the options for engagement. The level 2 duration upgrade for s3 provides for better tower plays and safer scouting, and if you select it at the right time it does so at no cost to power
Rather than banking that level 7 point for upgrading super to 2 before you actually need to do that, I just toss it into s3. This way, you can make stronger plays into tower 2, because second towers are a map expansion.
You definitely don’t need s3 level 2+ for the initial lane engagements
Went into the training room to get some information, increasing the level of your super affects the radius and the movement speed elements of the ability, but not the duration, vision, or damage, so it’s another one of those that is safe to park at level two while you prioritize other things, and in the early game, I sincerely believe level one will suffice because the radius is already the size of an objective arena
That’s good to hear, so definitely going to put two points into S3 at level seven then, because the speed boost comes from mimicking that ability anyway, I’d rather have access to it all the time than just during the super.
In order to get anything out of the super, you need to already be in the one point versions range anyway unless you’re using it as a bail out tool, which is the 9-11 level part of the game
I would actually see the argument in prioritizing Max S3 , except it doesn’t help the cool down, and you already have such a comparatively limited offensive contribution to fights that you really want your max damage abilities as quickly as you can reasonably get them
play against hit as hit is just all depend on if whose team gonna drop down ego to fight and cover tower
appearantly my teammate didn't do that
I would love to do only tower too
tried only tower, lowkey sucks? it only make me more survival after i done
ok hit with gekishin high is good
for enemies that all in thiers head is teamfight boss and stuff
so it situational???
dealing damage really feel like not important priority for hit, he is technical
- proc fod (most unique only to him) -> destroy enemies fov (immediate lost sense of danger or priority (blind them before they see boss, blind them and teammate jump on them))
- tower (because he can invisible then do tower offguard unless enemies dedicated themself to spam rush attack theirs tower)
- invisible (can do tower, goes behind enemies easily, jump backline enemies)
With snowball added in, you actually set up for kills quite a bit better, but he does have a lot of value outside of that, I’m seeing.
Later in the match sometimes I’ll swap in GH for snowball when blitzing towers, or escape if they’re playing good defense and I want to weave more. Double vanish is covering that a lot though but I agree his build, like his playstyle , is super situational
Just backdoor with hit for easy wins
Especially during super start, cloud cover, and sparkly stardust as any of those combos usually guarantee a win
Just make sure your team defends too
Always priotize his 3 and ult as you will not be fighting much unless to pick off strays with teammates
Go for gekishin high, solid barrier, and limit break-jump
And then just climb the ranks
Went from C3 to B3 in less than an hour with 12+ win streak
i went E to S rank hit only
and from my experience just adjust to what your team is doing in solo queue. If you have premades its a different story but you just have to be flexible with your cards and playstyle
You ran into my alt last night on baby, you play well 🔥
really thanks
my teamates dont defend
all my losses with hit is just us not defending and taking obj
im carrying all games
even if i die i always go for chip damage
comes in clutch
always go in knowing you might die in towers
Skill prio?
First is his third skill, second would be his death blow then last vital shot
And I assume you open from stealth with s2 over rush then?
Ult max, third skill max, first skill max
Or does backstab still refund?
i’m saying, do you still open out of stealth with rush and get the shorten cool down from backstab on s2 if you hit it after stealth is broken? Like is there enough time for that to work?
I mostly stealth out people's range and then mark them with my first skill
Then vital shot since lvl 2 will stun/shockwave
But I mostly use my skill to get my third skill back then stealth again
ik a lot of hit tend to max s3 first now but honestly it's not a autolock for me
If my team plays well I just max s1 first snowball and win
Much quicker than trying to solo backdoor
If team is sus but im fed i max s3 first
That too
Whats skill order?
Gekishin high or escape card
3rd skill, 1 skill and 2nd skill
^
This is the way I play. I didn’t go with those cards though. I should try that when I go back to solo tech grinding with Hit
I normally Gekishin High and backstab to shorten my cooldowns
Whats the combo with Hit. Like how should I engage in fights
I normally stealth to get them marked so I can do damage that way
anyone else pissed at how shu defeats your prpose for like 10-20 seconds
Not really
gekishin high only shorten cooldowns if you hit a tower, you can get 5 hits on tower with your skills before you end up waiting 2 second to burst again. how many time will you have the change to burst 6 times in a row? not many, wasted card on him
Strategic escape is just too broken and you need escape tools if you go backstab instead of LBJ. No reason to need shorter tower cooldowns if you are dead anyway
LBJ is really good, especially in mario64
bruh
Y’all got any tips for early game hit?
Krillin is more of assasin than hit
Not really, ive found great use for Gekishen High. You can skill 3 first to go to their tower unnoticeable and use skill 1 and 2 to attack towers, while being invisible, so the enemies cant see you while you destroy their tower
You can also do this without GH, and the enemy can still see their tower taking damage and cast an aoe
Until max s3, the duration isn’t really long enough for you to get repeat casts off even with GH
wrong
as he said they can see you in stealth, at that point, again, is probably a skill issue on their side or they are bots. Bots has complete inability to prevent tower bursts
No
You become visible when using a gekishin burst
Anyone got any relatively begginer/intermediate tips for someone who has no damn idea how to make character work? I personally view Hit as the most difficult hero to play effectively as hit kit is so much more convoluted than almost every other character that its tough for me to pinpoint what your meant to do as him. Anything that can help a nººb like me start getting a general grasp make me not look like a newborn fetus would greatly appreciated.
Do you think gekishin high could only be decently effective leading into late game? By late game you would want to quickly burn through the God’s hp without becoming a sitting duck with no cooldowns. But this is saying you go strat escape first and only switch when you have the divine card energy for a 4th or 5th card
Because early game yeah, gekishin high is pretty useless. You won’t ever find the time to be able to take advantage of the card when you don’t have all your skills unlocked or at lvl 3 for the gekishin bursts to deal enough damage and be quick enough to get more than 2-3 skills on it
Again lategame you have maxed skills, so you do bonus damage already. It Is very hard to abuse gh, and you get no real benefit with your cooldowns, while leaving behind cards that benefit your laning phase/teamfight potential. This game Is not all about "i get that card because...." But what you are sacrificing for it
Maybe damage hit is good when everyone else run damage
Eventually the balance between damage, tank, mobility falls off
Especially superstart, and gold cell jr
What's the best 3rd divine card for hit
General consensus seems to be backstab or limit breaking jump
Seconding the jump recommend, you don’t heads up other characters too much often enough to justify backstab where jump gives you chase and escape at the same time
😭
Man shu just completely screws over hit. Popped ult just to continuously be marked and lose damage
Remember you use that ability just as much to mess with the enemies ability to see what’s going on as you do for the damage, shu stops part of it, but not all of it
when do I wanna ult with hit?
Even then I feel useless when I can’t damage
His ult is pretty versatile, usually you want to catch more than one target with it, it can be used when a boss is nearing secure threshhold, when you want to do a group tower push, when you need to stall a tower defense.
I wouldn’t use it in a situation where the enemy is likely to be retreating anyway because it doesn’t stop them from moving out meaningfully before level 2, but after that you can use it for cleanup too.
If the enemy team is all low it can mess up their ability to tell when to pull away so it’s good for that too.
Finally, it’s a good tool to help YOUR team leave
Damage is a nice bonus on Hit, but your main jobs are tower assault and enemy disruption. You can kill, but it’s just another form of disruption. If you know you’re getting Shu’d, play into your CC
I struggle to do that since I like the more assassin side to him. I prefer to make sure ranged characters are my priority
90% of the game counters hit
Ty
I was mainly unsure on when before this lol
Also partially cause my rank isn't that high so I win fights without it
lol
btw what helper do I wanna use with hit?
mainly going Shu atm
Shu let’s use scout better, farmer lets you defend areas without having to come out of stealth and makes your attacks a little meatier
oh ight ty
lowkey tired of getting groomed by this character
Does anybody have a list of characters/things that counter Hit's invisibility?
AoE, mark and targeted spells
Krillin marks, Ssj goku passive marks, Shu helper marks.
Gotenks ghosts counter hard
gotenks biggest counter
Ghosts follow you in invis and will reach+pull you out of invis
Super combo locks into invis so you can't leap away, the skil will follow, hit you and pull you out of invis, you have to jump out with LBJ not invis
Be happy it's not Gotenks
Any buffs or nerfs for hit
I've heard that the way gotenks interacts with Hits stealth has changed
So you can apparently S3 away from his stun barrage
finally
No hit nerf is crazy tho
Hello Hit players, I wanted Gotenks so waited at lvl 58 on star pass ... Didn't work out so I coped, what's our strategy?
Depends if you don't mind the rat play style or not? If you want the rat play style just backdoor GoDs.
Other than that, hit and hit, hit and run. S2 > S1 > rush > backout and restealth
Ty
Also, don't brawl. If you can't kill in a combo then it's probably not worth sticking around. Just utilize Hit's constant stunning to support your teammate(s) and just pick off low HP characters.
FYI, he is INCREDIBLY toxic paired with Dabura. Hit's stun immedately into petrify is so annoying
Ty, Card recommendation?
Gekishin is probably the only MUST use on Hit, especially if you're going the rat play style. Limit Breaking Jump is also useful for hit.
You COULD possibly go full red / Snowball if you're a God at utilizing his stealth, stuns, and skill shot.
Ty again
For the love of god FIX THE ISSUE WHERE I GO INVISIBLE & THEY STILL FRICKIN TRACK ME it's literally the only way I can die because I go invisible then I bend a corner, next thing you know gokus rush attack warps around the flippin corner & kills me like what the
Did you use S3 inside enemies purple circle
Cause yes it not gonna go invisible instantly it took time
That how it works
Nah I dashed out just in time but when I did I went invis, literally dashed AROUND the corner & gotenks rush attack literally follow the bend with me & killed me
does anyone know if trunks' blind counts for your passive
Hit with skill 2 damage up is actually pretty crazy ngl
Still miss skill 1 damage tho considering technically that's better
Skills:
1-3-2-ult
Cards:
Depends on how you want to play him, may vary
Helper:
Shu.
Life saver
Im going for wins
So rat style
Cards (rat style):
Gek high/strat escape
Art of decoy/solid barrier
Lbj/defensive step
Got it
Do i skip a level up at any point
That's more of a player thing, that depends on you
I've half mastered hit. For those standing inside the tower, even when FOD is applied from ult. What do I do?
Ran into a ssj goku who just threw attacks at the tower since they couldn't find me.
Make them disoriented and use those as opportunities, because they're focused on defending the tower, y'all have the fight/man advantage so kill the ones in teamfight to make it easier for your team to play
Because y'all are "focused"(not you) on teamfights now, they have no choice but to join the fight and leaving the towers, in which you now go to the towers and rat play the game
This sounds very
Good in hindsight
In reality no 1s pursuing the bosses. I dont think hit is good for bosses. Which results into triple bosses etc
On top of this, no one is rushing GODS w me. I guess its to be expected
But ive yet to grasp the best choice with hit
Who says you're going for bosses, you're going for fights that makes the enemy guarding the towers go and join the fight, in which gives you an opportunity to take down the tower
So far this has yet to happen
I meant to say GOD for the last sentence oops
You don't need to rush god with anyone because of your "rat play", as long as y'all can keep them occupied and not in their towers, then you have no problem landing max bursts
But then again, your gek damage is based on your level and skill points so gotta farm those up too
Doing like 2k per skill 2 lmao
I am doing it in every game so maybe it's just game sense, it can be applied to anything and everything not just specifically to hit
I guess ir could be bad tms
But they weren't forcing the enemy into a situation where I could backdoor
Should I just use snowball for extra dmg?
Not them forcing, y'all forcing the enemies who are tower hugging to join the fight
Ik you want to do the rat playstyle but you gotta make them think you're not going to and keep going for fights (and hopefully killing one or two as an advantage)
Because if they know you pump faking a fight to backdoor, they're just gonna hold the fort no matter what
If you can do it then go for it ig
It'll only work for low ranks anyway cuz high ranks will be running almost a full def cuz of green card buffs
I see
What do YOU think is optimal for winning
I only care about the execution of my games and how I control the whole map to win, idrc abt having certain teammates and some optimal stuff (prolly divine draw idk) to win
he needs a buff desperately
control the map hm
im not familiar with doing this
You can't rat play nonchalantly all the time
You can still do the rat play but not the way you wanted it to happen
Conditioning the enemy is the key (in which can be applied to any type of competitive game)
When you say conditioning the enemy, I'm assuming that means to play mind games with enemy. Like going to their gods to cap until they start defending in which case you play with your team and etc right?
Always making team fights be a 4v3 or 4v2 instead of 4v4
Yea...
yeah ill try hit in higher ranks
not effective for me in lower ranks with idiots
I just ran snowball prepare to die cuz I know I can abuse fighting bots and dominate my lane, might be effective against them normal players too if you use him well enough
i guess sicne its a lower rankk they dont know what to do
but no one wants to get nappa and 16
i tried a few times but geniunely had no help
Even if you lose the bosses, don't start fighting it or tryna make them go to the boss if they don't want to
The enemy will initiate and they have to decide either go to the boss or the tower, but to make the tower worth it (if you're going to tower), you need to be sure that you can take it down asap before they kill the boss
hm
But then again, since I play hit at a much advanced level, I'm trying to do all 3 equally
Chip down the turret (it's better if you only max gek instead of using other skills, unless you need that 1 skill gek burst for a lvl up or card selectuon), scout around the boss area (setup shu/disorient using his psssive), and help your teammates if they decide to go for the boss (by killing the enemy tech or a squishy attacker cuz they're also scouting like you instead of taking down the boss too)
ill be real
they are NOT scouting
most of the time itll be the dps
but i normally try to apply FOD via ult
then move in
Tech and tank are def scouting, dps are the ones taking down the boss
Unless it's frieza, they're just scouting/providing vision of incoming enemies(y'all)
ill see if i can imrpovee at that i suppose
You don't just move in, ofc you need to analyze if moving in is the right move or even using the ult (unless it's a teamfight and your dps have a secure skill)
It's no use using ult when your dps are 18/gamma and they have gokus
When a boss arrives, you don't just focus on one thing, you immediately go for other scenarios like:
"We can't secure the boss because all 4 of them are there, I should go and chip down gods instead"
"I can't chip down gods because someone's defending it, I should help my teammates with the bosses"
"We can't seem to find an opening while they're doing bosses and defending at the same time, I should just disrupt them from behind and might even kill one of them regardless if we got the boss or not, a kill is a kill"
what if my team is just farming
instead of doing either
Don't bother then, just farm too since they'll be way ahead if you just try to disorient them (if the scenario is them doing boss and defending god)
not sure how we won
but the way they played made it impossible for any of these conditions
I wanna see how you play hit so I can assess how aggressive you can play with him cuz idk your rank
The aggressiveness I'll give you may depend on the rank (although I play the same all the way to a rank)
current rank is c4
There shouldn't be a situation not listed there, it's basically a rock paper scissors situation
Unless you're adding trolling teammates to the mix, then just surrender and move on to the next game
horrible lobbies for now
2 were like at nappa, and 2 were at the tower
my team was just farming
i couldve tried to vital point snipe the boss but i dont think i wouldve got it. couldve tried though
What 2? 2 dps 1dps1tank 1dps1tech?
Cuz any answer you give will still give you something to do
Don't bother sniping the bosses, you'll just be risking yourself to a kill
But then again
That's the thing here, you don't stop analyzing and creating plans like an assassin
i see
Has level 2 on S2 ever been worth it for anyone?
That shockwave looks hella useless with how people are usually positioned
The shockwave is just a bonus but it's still decent
It actually has for me, I don't plan on getting ppl with the shockwave but it's always a fun surprise when i just stunned 2-3 ppl with it
sorta got better with hit
early on i knocked out 2 GODS which forced a uub to stay back and defend
ss4 vegeta kept dying to cell or whatever. i shouldve engaged in team fights more'
but im getting the hang of it
Any guide how to make my Hit be a DPS?
Run full red?
Fr? Ight bet
I mean full red=damage so it's kinda a no brainer
Ohhhh but what's the best build in general?
snowball, prepare to die, backstab I guess
Alright ty
as much as I wanna say something like pursuer or wicked warrior I don't think it works well..
Why?
losing out on stun consistency from backstab
Ohh
you don't really need pursuer cause you have so much mobility already
and I have no clue how wicked warrior interacts with hit's enhanced rush attacks
Noted ty brotha
probably not great cause you need to land 3 anyways
unless it somehow just turns out to burst the hell out of people
Oh
just tested, unless vegeta is a horrible example and I'm dumb
wicked warrior buffs are like
not worth it
lmao
really works horribly with the enhanced rushes
really just for chars like uub ig
Got it
What's the overall best hit build? I'm using gekishin burst barrier and 2x vanish but wanna know if there's a better one
Mostly to take towers. Not tryna chase kos.
It's a toss up between t1 strat escape and t3 backstab to your t1/3
Gek burst is pretty good at late game (you can switch if you feel confident abt backdooring) because all of your skills will deal a great burst so doing that multiple times does the job, it's aight in early but you'll rather focus on farming and levelling up your skills instead
Ofc you won't need gek burst if you have the star cd reduc draw so you have an alternative when replacing gek burst
As for backstab, as you've said you're not tryna chase kos but this enables you to disorient enemies with the proper gameplay, consistent stun makes the enemies reconsider their approach, especially if you're synergistic in a squad, there could be 2 common scenarios that will come up with this when it comes to taking down objectives/kais/bosses, they will either get stubborn and still fight which enables you to backdoor because they're focused in fighting, or they'll retreat so y'all can have the obj with lesser pressure
Yea true that stun definitely comes in handy
If anyone wants tips from the best Hit, let me know!
🤚
Me
Should I be hitting rush and then trying to back out to s2 from stealth? Or is it an either or situation?
Its dependent on the situation. I utilize bushes ALOT and what I like to do is stun from the bush, vanish back in the bush while they're stunned and hit them with a rush
Idk if that answers your question😅
Hit me 🤟
Up
You'll rarely use your full rush attack outside of having your skills in cd, no bush to go to, and finishing a low hp enemy
So it's better to era (enhanced rush attack) from the bush first to mark them with fod, and now because you've marked them, their fov will be reduced so an s2 from outside of their fov circle will still stun them even when you're not at stealth mode (attacking them with skills outside of their fov circle acts like you're in stealth mode)
I haven't/never seen people mention it but marking an enemy with fod and then attacking them with stealth-based attacks, may it be eba from bush or skills outside of their fov circle (basically applying another mark or fod), adds a massive amount of damage so you need to prepare your "combo" sequence because the first mark you apply doesn't count for that additional damage
Here's where strategic escape comes in clutch when you're near bushes, after applying marks through any means, you can go away from them and onto the nearest bush for that era(enhanced rush attack), your era applies slow debuff while strat esc gives you mov spd away from them, so hopefully a smoother rinse and repeat moment for you while you lane as hit
What are the best cards for hit
I've never seen ppl mention it but I don't think FOD procs if your opponent is rush attacking you even if you're out of los
You mean stealth not fod, fod is the passive mark
There are instances where you can be rush attacked right after entering stealth
no I mean like
say you hit your era
then move out of their fov
if they're still rush attacking you sometimes your s2 just doesn't stun now
nvm im dumb you're right
It's aight don't mind abt it
but yeah its very annoying when you wanna combo
the high damage versions of your moves just not working because the opponent decided to hold a button
I've also had times where I knock a hit out of their invis on accident because my skills autoaim when I tap them, and it just kinda senses that
Oh that, you'll rarely land a non-stealth s2 while they have fod mark
It's somewhat made that way cuz imagine if his s2 has a long range right? So it's only for close quarters and hard to land the non-stealth way
Just use s3 s2 or bushs2
You don't really combo with hit the normal way, you're just basically annoying the heck outta them and prolly killing with constant fod application
With each successful fod proc reduces your cd so you can apply continuously, it's not really meant for fast asf combos like 18 or smth
Because you're a tech (normally fast) while your fod applies slow debuff, you're basically playing with them if they're not mobility heavy characters
the situations im usually in are like
I'm in invis and see an opponent, hit my era and jump out of their fov with the step, planning on using s2 or s1 for max damage
but because they were already holding rush attack for some reason, or because they just have fast reactions, they immediately start attacking and my vanish wasn't enough to get out of range of their rush
but if I use s1 or s2 even though im out of view I don't get the extra damage or effects
while I get this is kinda balancing and all, it makes his era feel useless sometimes because now you're never engaging with that part of his kit unless your cds are on cd
but why would you ever engage with just an era
so you're gonna wait till your cds are off cd
but then yknow, why ever era when you can just use your cds now that you waited?
it's like that whole era part of his kit is just kinda. useless.
that is true, hit is a poke character, but I guess I'm just way more used to characters that have fast combos
even though hit is my favorite character in the game just due to his concept
but his damage sometimes doesn't feel like its enough to kill without that extra era
maybe that's a me issue tho
I have an issue with patience
he just slow and reduce fov enough for your teammate to swallow enemies easier
Why you say swallow 😭
You era so your other skills' cd also get reduced so it's not useless but rather it's one of the most important parts of his kit
I think you're either just too close or you're inside of their fov because I could like give footage on how fod procs outside of fov and they'll stun/deal more damage (which you alr know, which is why I'm confused abt you saying they don't get stun when you're outside of their los/fov)
As for your enemies rendering your stealth useless part, your era range should be longer than their rush attack range so like I said above, you're most likely too close to them in which they'll definitely be able to attack you even when you're in stealth mode, if they can just hold their rush button and be able to hit anything inside their range, then long range rush attack characters like piccolo/bojack should be basically a hard counter to him because they have the biggest rush attack range if we're using your logic of just holding rush=hit gets attacked
Based on your thoughts, you're most likely a Hit dps player in which is hard to guide to except go full damage build, try to burst them asap (if they aren't dead, retreat and repeat, don't do that to tanks ofc), and lastly your stealth being useless is more of a lack of mastery on hit in which you'll need more matches to understand him more (cuz like you said, you have an issue with patience and stuff)
Also, early hit when played right, can just era you to death
Also it's prolly a lag thing where you use s2 because you're outside of their fov/los expecting to stun but they didn't (most of the explanation is right above this but I'm just thinking out loud and adding some things I might've missed)
what i mean by "they don't get stunned when I'm outside their fov is:"
say im invisible, using s3, right?
I use my era on my opponent. Now their fov is reduced, and I'm no longer invisible.
My opponent starts rush attacking me when I'm visible, and I vanishing step out of the circle that indicates their fov.
but they KEEP rush attacking me, due to a slightly longer range on their rush than their current fov.
Even though they logically shouldn't, and can't actually see me, im still being attacked. I use S2, expecting it to stun or something, but it doesn't. It also doesn't proc F.O.D.
That could very well be the case tho
This means I can't really engage with the era unless I'm already in a bush and have s3 off cd.
Because otherwise my stuff just...Doesn't decide to work.
Ngl I wanna see footage of these things happening because I can't really comprehend like if they're still able to attack you, then you're not really outside of their fov circle (you might think you are)
Just play a match with hit and record it, then crop the part where the exact same scenario you're talking about happens and we can decide what to do from there
I'll try to do that, thanks!
Yea, cuz idt I've had any problem with hit's mechanics other than his bugs in which that's a bug instead of a skill issue
Mention me when you upload it in game moments tho
I'm very new to hit, I've had about 4 games with the character which is generally enough for me to understand the character but for hit I do not. What's his gameplan? I try to annoy enemy dps and cancel moves like the good hits I've played against last season, yet it doesn't end up very effective. My backdooring game with him isn't very good either unfort. I fall behind in levels like the "bad hit" i've teamed up with xd.
I know I should familiarize myself with the character more before getting frustrated enough to ask what is basically a pretty boring question but
Im only familiar with freeza unfort, and hes not very good vs stacks outside super start n even then its pretty questionable whichs why im trying to get better with hit
Start here @upbeat gazelle
Thank you
We've had extensive discussions so you can just read those instead of waiting for a reply
i only had today showing xd
My bad
I could see that theres like 3.3k messages, but after the bot it was only showing me today without clicking on the reply
Also I don't doubt your or anyone elses expertise, but iceabi was a hit I played against, and he was the one hit that consistently targetted me n annoyed me
its kind of insane people can basically spend their whole time annoying you and still keep their levels up
You're both eu so I understand but he hasn't said anything here regarding hit that's as extensive as we've been providing, what I'm tryna say is take these infos first before you wait for his reply
(2 ppl asked him but he only replied 1 of them and ditched, so unless he prefers 1-to-1 dm session, he's not really providing allat much)
Yeah its fair xd i already said im not doubting ur expertise
Ik but it sounded like the "too long didn't read, sorry or congratulations to you" thingy
No no, im sorry if it felt that way
im reading up
On me
U saw me spectating the beef when i shouldve been reading
I fight vs these guys pretty often so it was a sight
Yea I understand dw bro
Im done w the reading but applying it is a whole nother deal xd hopefully i can
How useful is the new helper for Hit?
Unless you're backdooring and too lazy to use s3, that's pretty much the only way you can use it
Shu's still on top cuz you can place it near bosses/gods, they enter the area, gives not only you but all of your team information on where the enemy at
I've yet to test if invisman can completely counter shu because invisman's type is "jammer" while shu is "scout"
But even if it counters shu, it's use is only for that occasion and backdooring
Honestly idt shu is very useful with world king meta
Bosses just disintegrate
In s1 it was kinda important yeah
You're confusing tech helper to an attacker helper
Tech characters cannot use world king
even with freeza i was using shu and id place it around boss (preferably the bushes) for the info yes
It was pretty important in s1
It feels as tho outside defending hit shu doesnt do much anymore
So you use farmer on hit?
I'm confused, you stated exactly how shu should be used but also said the scenario where you don't really get to place shu for the boss teamfight
He's basically trip wire notification, you put it to where they'll definitely be going, they get into shu's range and y'all are notified that they are coming
Shu did his job perfectly, how y'all act with that information in mind doesn't concern shu anymore
If they all-in with shu mark to the bosses, then you can decide to do a 50/50 of using ult to give time for your teammates to secure the boss since they can't see or backdoor since no one's defending the gods
I was just saying the value isnt the same as before, but it doesn't mean he isnt the best helper im not going against ur advice
Ig it wasnt very substantial to add so i apologized for it
Ik you're not going against I just want to know more
Shu didn't get any changes so I was wondering how did his value change
Its just that the value increase for king is so high the dps just duo ult boss and take it, before ud generally get a teamfight, now the first 2 get blown up so quickly shu's information doesn't get to matter as much from what i feel
Before u generally couldnt get away with duo ulting with most dps unless u had a lot of stacks
Rn even buildup dps characters just blow it up
The last 2 messages doesn't matter since we're talking abt shu and world king
So I wanna ask again, which helper do you use on hit? You're a frieza main so even he uses a different helper (farmer/bubbles are better than shu)
(So if this is more of a helper discussion instead of a hit's helper discussion, I'mma just stop here)
Nah they're not better, shu is basically best for everyone unless you have a specific preference for farmer. Freeza can't solo defend against hit unless he throws a nova without shu as minions cant detect hit. And if its not a stack fight it's still good to place shu before boss, for the last 2 bosses obv he still has use even in stack games. And yeah, that's why I tried to cut it short by calling it not substantial, my bad for making it a helper thing.
I've been using shu and going sball/barrier/backstab from start, i max out skill 3 2 and don't skip on ult so i can get decent blinds when everyones gathered for boss.
My issue mainly comes from my inconfidence when it comes to when I should be poking, and even tho I obv know to backdoor, I wasn't going above and beyond like other hits.
I wanna go escape but im so snowball addicted
Ill try it out
My performance relies too much on my laner being decent
Which is an obv statement but i feel as tho i couldve carried some of the losses had i been a better hit
Another thing to add on for my case is that I kinda feel the same as other guy in the sense that lategame my stealths have been getting messed up by people just throwing moves like meteor hammer around to find me xd
just goes on to show my incompetence for the character ig
But yeah, this is really smart, to show up 4 in the map but leaving after so the tower hugger leaves post
I gotta start accounting for that
Anyone decent at the game will be looking, but I just don't tend to think abt how the enemy is viewing the map
Earlier on i was kinda doing too much to poke n annoy ppl and having it result in getting bursted down in a blink even tho hit has like what, best hp as a tech?
His case is another thing, the one you're talking abt is just a common thing for hit players where you're trying to join an aoe teamfight as a single target character so no matter how much stealth you have, you'll be hit and be revealed immediately at a touch of an aoe button
I mean its nice to know its common but a great hit would be able to escape yeah
N ye, when i reread that part a second time i misread, hes was talking abt the fov xd
In case of a teamfight solid barrier also limits fod dmg by a LOT, so even tho im taking it off for a teamate n getting a nice stun off I still feel useless
Idk i just start questioning if i should be waiting for diff opportunities n such
I already try to go do whats most optimal but conditioning people is a whole another beast
Its really hard to keep track of it all yeah
I would like to see a clip/gameplay on this. Coz I cant really utilize it fully rn
Which one tho
I never knew that the damage multiplier Didn’t apply to initial strikes, that does change engagement pattern a lot thank you
2nd Paragraph. The whole era part
what do you guys tend to choose on super start?
Skill 3. The invisibility one
Skill 1 always, if you're more confident in your skills, skill 2
Skill 1 ^
S2
what
no?
I mean it only reduces your own cd
ok ty didn’t know because I never played it
Yw
What's a good combo of card for him?
I usually go Super Snowball, Giant Killer/Whatever that other dps card is, and Limit Breaking Jump/Backstab
You can also go Strategic Retreat instead of Snowball
Retreat, barrier, jump. With build up being meta damage Hit is dead, and it was already forced. Backstab only works on s2 and s3 has baked in cooldown reduction on successful strikes
Super start s3 so you can both chip towers earlier and command better starting positions with the speed boost
S1 also acceptable for farmings sake if your team secure is bad
I usually super start s2 cuz im decently confident in my position and you don't usually need a long invis timer at the start of the game
I'd say backstab still helps if you just combo s2 with s1
Especially because you're gonna be relying on that s2
I hardly ever to never super start s2 regardless of what my strategy is going to be mostly because s1 lets me poke and the s3 play is for towers
The double jump consideration is also for towers, because at max you can reliably stealth in, hit s1 and or s2, and leave before an aoe hits you, to restealth.
That said, from a combat perspective I understand the s2 and backstab plays. I just think the meta is shifting to make hit less effective in prolonged combat
I have a question, what is the best build for hit to Kill gods and survive?
i think it’s gekishin high, strategic escape or snowball for the first card
solid barrier for the second and lbj for the third
Thanks
np just experiment a bit with the first card and you’re good to go
Just trying out hit again and man
Damage hit is dead
Medical spawn is hit nightmare
Same issue as krillin
Maybe that why he need same build as krillin
His problem is that the old card build is not variable for stagnated fight
Krillin also have same issue
Both proc status like mark ajd fod
I suggest is strat. Prepare to die. Normally as krillin i will use backstab to spam solar flare but hit backstab is unreliable. He need to be close range to proc. So defense step
Hit suffer hellot
@sage kite how was hit ss2 feel
I feel like i dont have time to even farm
I mostly procing and still lose
THAT FREAKING MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
Yea this is so real lmao. U are always behind in lvls compared to teammates and opponents
You gotta farm when you out of usefulness
Also the invisible helper works with passive
And also i have to remember only S2 can stagger. It useful to prevent some enemies from comboing or ukting
Yea. Against bosses I ult and use sk2 on enemy dps😂 taking their dps or at least stalling them helps team to secure ig
I keep getting headache from trying to use him
I like using him but u need a somewhat competant lanemate, who knows when to be aggressive or engage with opponents so that u can back door and ur entire team needs to be attentive for the boss. 7/10 times ur team ignores nappa 16 and suddenly they remember oh we are under triple boss ko threat .. but its too late. We are trailing in lvl and either both towers are destroyed or are super low coz boss themselves deal dmg
Basically the same as ss1 to me, but everyone should just ss1 instead
i feel like with good enough playstyle, snowball and prepare to die is good
have to spam ping myself..
No correlation to what we're talking about but okay ig
everyone get more tanky this season sadly
it feel different
have you experiment with various helper?
i had tried new helper but i'm not sure how it work
i mean it reveal anyway in enemies fov so why bother bring him
i couldn't stop myself to play snowball hit
snowball, solid barrier, lbj
and priority S1
@carmine orchid ur right it prob best way to play him
Anyone mind sharing the perfect skill upgrade order for Hit? Been testing out different orders.
S1 S3 at the start. Then max s1 then s3 then s2.
Hey, what are cards for Hit?
Can go damage or backdoor based, survival based
Snowball, prepare to die, and backstep for the damage cards
I think like genshin impact, barreir and lbj
Strategic escape, solid barrier and limit breaking jump for the back door/survival build
Oh escape 1st🤔
Never tried gekishin impack because you usually can only hit the tower with your 1 and 2 then you gotta blink out from enemy
never seen the use
Ok i will go with escape thanks fro advices🙏
yeah try it it's nice. Can be annoying and escape late game.
plus barrier/blink and invis you are like a mosquito
Ultimate troll unit

what's funny too is you still do damage lol and can impact fights.
This dude will be fun to play tomorrow💯 🔥
hit for me currently is best support soloq
You can also mix and match damage cards and survival stuff
Snowball and solid barrier etc. Backstab or Limit breaking jump
How is shu helpful for hit
Isnt he like anit Hit helper?
You use him to counter opponent hit not for your benefit i think
helps with the mirror and is just nice to have
In super start what upgrades should I get
Also I assume solo sneaking is better for hit late game
While letting team defend correct
S1 probably
S1 range does so much for applying fear of death without spending S3
ngl is it just me or does putting points into ult feel like a waste
it's already so big at level 1 that I feel like I'd rather just put that point into S2 for the potential aoe stun or an early level 2 S3
I don't level up ult past the first level until everything is max/everything is max and s2 is lvl 2
I know some people play hit where the only level up his skills and don't even level up ult until the end, cuz you could be adding so much more value with higher leveled skills than with an ult
Yeah i never bother
fair
Hit mirror advice?
Constantly spam shu, like always drop it down near team fights or near gods every minute
Makes playing hit super annoying and turns it into a 1v1 where both of you are just trying to take down gods faster than the other
Just gotta hope your team doesn’t sell and actually protects gods from hit and hope the other does sell and doesn’t protect gods from you 🙂
Ty
Honestly, snowball prepare to die, backstab
Depends how you play
I feel like just straight damage is how you are meant to play
You can use back door builds too, geki high/strat escape, solid barrier, limit breaking jump
I feel like straight attacking the enemy dps all game is better. Backstep lets you keep stunning over and over
Its easier to carry games S solo queue just getting good and killing people
Hmm
Strategic escape, barrier, and either LBJ if you’re playing hard to escape opponents or backstab if you’re playing against people easy to trap with s2
With the current Meta, straight damage builds do not work as well as they used to because buildup is common and that’s cutting your damage by 20% right there, and barrier usually eats your opener
Your base kit is more than sufficient for winning fights, but your mobility tools are unique to you and not dying if you get caught is essential
I dunno I nearly won 20 games in a row solo q full damage in S lobbies
Feels easier to do work to just kill people
I won’t dismiss your experience, it feels like you’ll miss out on kills, but it’s worth a shot and isn’t a bad idea
Bro your build is great too I was using it before
I actually tried your build out, you have converted me to believing in damage Hit
Probably take snowball to start regardless and then choose prepare or barrier based on who you’re fighting against and the same thing for Backstab versus jump, and then switch over to strategic if things go bad later in the match
The extra damage was nice to have
Damm instant peace
Getting top dmg and kills on hit is pure dopamine 🤣
Abusing clouds and bushes too is funny. Lots of people disrespect clouds and bushes
Getting first strike is important too imo
What's the order of skills to lv? I just started playing him, but feel lost when it comes to that.
Been leveling S2 for engage, and S3 to escape and finish. But S1 also feels like a big deal.
Open with 1 + 3, 1 to rush is a good amount of burst, then grab 2 and Ult next.
From there, 1-3-2-ult is the priority. You can leave the invis at 2 if you want for awhile, but level 3 is a speed increase and you can chain it into itself which helps with ratting more then the extra shockwave helps s2 imo
You prioritize 1 because you want to stack as much fod as possible before you engage and it’s a free stack from stealth
Gotcha. Thanks for the info. Going to try it this game.
That seemed to work out pretty good.
I've been testing out Buildup + Barrier + Backstab, not sure if it's me only but feels good
why would you ever go build up on hit you arent meant to be staying taking damage
and if you get caught you prob die anyway, strat escape surely better?
I've been using that
Helps quite a bit to survive ngl.
I genuenly survived a lot with buildup that I wouldn't have
Escaped, vanished around and got kills and towers
I also have fun running the "assasin build" with snowball, now you die and backstab. It's if I want to be more aggressive
Yeah since you don't lose any stats
It might get nerfed probably
Yea modt likely
Ultimate Gohan needs more nerfs
As well
For what a small buff hit got I actually like it
Deathblow is longer on lvl 1 now than it was on lvl 2
I'm feeling more confident in picking up vital point strike for the longer range and higher damage on the stagger
Even aftr all those nerfs he's still comfortably the best tech
I would say how ironic
But it's Toshi we're talking about
So all Gohans are insane
Lol
What's hit combo?
S1>S2>rush attack>S3 to chase>S2 if you have backstab, if not era
Era?
Enhance rush attack
the thing you get from being invisible and rush attackig
Make senses
There is no combo, the goal is to keep putting passive on people to do bonus damage, abuse bushes, using s1 and s2 while invisible.
This is your bread and butter damage and cdr
"Meet Passive man"
Problem: bad teams
Wait for season 3 divine draw and abuse bushes. I don't think people will be able to reasonable escape once they've been procced with fear of death tbh
Like if you start a combo like s1 enhance rush attack, dash out to the bush s2, then s3 enhanced rush attack maybe dash again? s1 again then s2 again and forever and ever. I think you can just get a bunch of kills like that. Like ppl won't be able to escape you at all unles their friend comes and then you can just ult
What are the best three hit cards?
it‘s generally snowball, barrier and limit breaking jump but the cards got nerfs so we‘ll what the meta in the new meta is
So I have to wait until tomorrow?
Interesting. I personally run Snowball, Time to Die, and Backstab when using Hit, though I’m willing to try this new set.
I used build up barrier and jump in S2
that’s the build most hit players use but if you don’t like you could also try build up
but we don’t exactly know what the card meta in season 3 will be we can only assume it
I prefer damage on Hit given his other evasive options. I only really use Build Up on Gohan, Vegeta, Zamasu, and occasionally on Gammas.
I do appreciate the advice on Hit, especially going into this new season cycle.
no problem and hit is a character who has a few playstyles so you can use which playstyle you like the most and that also applies to the cards
Snowball prepare to die backstab. Kill everyone
Yep
we thriving 🗣️🔥
I played against a Hit who kept denying my early farm with S1. Is that standard Hit play? How do you decide when you focus on denying and when to farm your own creeps?
Typically. You try for first hit on the lane, Hits like the best at it and gives you breathing room
Also hes not good at minion killing at all. So disrupting the enemies farm is a better use of time, Early game of course, dont not farm later
Man trying to pick up Hit but its rough. Never really sure whether i should be gunning or running.
Feels like the toughest character to get a sense of by far. Harder than freeza and gammas
My mindset is, if enemies r attacking tower or if we are going in for boss, I'll gun on their dps. If I catch oppo on my lane lacking or if all enemies on 1 lane after a boss fight, its run time
Thanks. I'll keep that in mind!
ngl it’s genuinely insane how many things they add so hit can stay hidden
the cloud cloak imo makes hit even harder to play than easier
i could make it work, it helps with a free stack if you use it with your 1 and then you can just stack from there, it makes dives as a whole stacked more in your favor than before
because yeah you can get free bushes everywhere I guess but you can't usually use s2 if s1 is off CD because THEY also have cloud cloak, you can't era them if they are cloud cloaked, you can't rush attack mobs unless you get super close, and you can be seen in your s3 if you move into a cloud while using it
the problem is that everyone has some sort of aoe attack rn
your s1 is your only CD that can hit opponents in bushes and clouds
if you get in an encounter and you miss your s1/it's on CD they just get to chase you off
you can't s3 away and go invis because you have a cloud on you they can see
you can't stun them with s2
you can't apply constant pressure with your era
you can't farm properly
meanwhile Broly stomps on you, krillin immediately solar flares you, Gohan insta stuns you, kid Gohan stuns you, etc, etc
any ssj Vegeta you see is even more annoying because you can't stun him so he doesn't throw out s2
unless you have your helper shu up kills you could've normally confirmed become lost
meet passive man everybody
Any high rank hit players here? Does anyone still run snowball after the nerfs? I been running more strategic escape
i‘m not a hit main but we don’t exactly know how viable snowball on hit is although strategic escape is probably more consistent
depending on your playstyle you could also try gekishin high
Gekishin high is kinda pointless imo, you want to be hitting people
Maybe snowball nerfs arent that bad considering the build up and barrier nerfs
I feel like I get more value fighting people but I guess you could run backdoor build if you want
yeah true I only know that some people like to use but it honestly depends on how you want to play
and having ratting in mind is not the optimal way of playing hit
yeah compared to build up snow ball is pretty decent I think
Maybe max geki burst a tower at bosses is good idea tho but you dont need geki high because your ult will be up usually for 2nd boss
Everyone gets a shield
Yeahhhh i feel this way too much, one of the most recent games i ran hit it was ulthan, broly, vegito, and baby... every single hero has AOE so i'm just kinda there unable to do much
I can still pick ppl off if they're alone and trying to run, but otherwise i'm kinda helpless when its late game and we're tryna take gods after all the bosses have been killed
Also, i tried running snowball and prepare to die. Imo snowball is still pretty viable. You do a ton and a TON of damage upon encounter. I don't have any problems securing kills it's just hard to play around all the constant AOE so i feel quite useless in boss fights and team fights in general
Ye vegito can be annoying
Strat escape, barrier and LBJ still goat all round build
Its nice tho just gotta pick your fights more
Bruh. Hit's hilarious. I just 1V2'd a shell because I able to dance around reapplying time skip and S1ing from stealth. May the devs never nerf my assassin.
Yup, that's why it's probably best just to use it on a GoD. Otherwise it's probably a waste of an ult with so many AoE ult heroes.
I really hope they don’t
If anything it’s his Time Skip that needs a slight buff
maybe prevent opponents from chaining rush attacks right after he uses it
they need to add stop all rush attacks when activating, its very annoying for a rush attack to bring you out of stealth when it shouldnt be hitting you in the first palce
^
honestly, all I really want is for his S1 to have a longer range (something like Inteleon in Pokemon Unite. Make Hit a proper sniper - you could even narrow the width of his S1.
I think it's already long enough, the recent buff was nice.
There's 2 types of hits, but they're always doing their job as an assassin.
One is sent to assassinate the enemies. (Snowball, Giant Slayer/Prepare to Die, Backstab)
The other is sent to assassinate the gods of the destruction. (And of course that includes Toppo.) With an strategic escape if case anything goes wrong, a solid barrier in case if they get caught, and a limit breaking jump for a quick getaway.
How do you play hit
Hit people
lol
Any giant slayer enjoyers?
I run art of decoy most of the time mainly because I hate aoe attacks
don’t want people knocking me out of stealth so easily
You would still get knocked out of stealth though
Run full red cards
I kinda want to run full red on hit but not having the backstab card feels illegal
full red is pointless lol pursuer hit lol
Tell that to my opponents 😎
hit is absolute garbage
if you dont understand the character ye
if you do hes probably the best support solo queue
He's not garbage, it all depends on the player
Took me a long time to grasp him. But honestly when I first played him I was trying to S1,rush into blink s2 which is troll lol
hit is the worst technical in the game
His playstyle definitely isn't for everyone but it can be really rewarding if you know how to use him
@high vector am I right?
Hit is literally the best tech in solo q. You can lockdown their dps, blind a whole team and you have the best tower push in the game
And you can do mad dmg
At this point it looks like oppo is just rage baiting with such statements which makes no sense. If thats genuine take then its even worse
Trying to play less hit so when i do play him i run a gekishin high build
Bored of playing spy tf2 in a moba
Being an invisible annoyance pecking away at enemy gods is fun
he might not be, but he's the best to guarantee the win if the allies are not dumb enough
you can just call the invisible man while everyone is fighting the boss, and then take out their towers
it is actually fast to take out all the towers before the enemy team gets the two zenos against you
and winning is what matters
not if he's the best as tech or not
and yeah you have to call the right cards too
does invisible man work on Zen-Oh?
like normally without it zen-oh shows opponents that you're near the GoD
ofc, the invisible man is just for that
it won't allow you and your allies to be visible on minimap
but before you get to the god of destruction, you must use skill 3 and when you get there you spawn the invisible man
your enemies wont be able to see you there inflicting damage on the god even if the skill 3 invisible effect is gone
and its even better if you go to the boss and show up a bit
they will think that everyone including you are fighting the boss
but for that it requires skill 3 max to go fast to the tower and keep invisible anytime
with that invisible man strategy to take out the towers you must focus on leveling up the skill 3 till it gets at its max
also a good thing i usually do is, when im at one of the last 2 enemy's towers and they are guarding the one with zeno, i wait for the skill 3 to be at its last milliseconds to damage the tower
so that when you hit the god, enemies will instantly try to kill you and then you just use skill 3 to get invisible but you have to pretend you're running away and getting back to your base, but instead you just keep behind them near their base
they usually think that you're going away, but don't be too close to them or they can spam skills with area damage like Broly hitting everything around him
and you just have to do this patiently and prevent from getting hit when invisible
So super start is ALWAYS s3
exactly, plus you can always stun enemies and decrease skill 3's cooldown in 1-2 seconds, making him able to use skill 3 again and again to stun and hit the enemy more
since skill 3 max is literally 3 seconds of cooldown, you can decrease a lot and use more again
super start skill 3 is the best for Hit
Only thing that pisses me off is that
When I use Super start S3, my s1 is so small that aoe characters (Vegito, Broly, and gotenks ghosts) can just hit me instantly if im anywhere near them and I can't get close enough to blind them
yeah i can imagine thats boring
in my case thats not a big deal at all
i hit them on distance but i keep holding back a little
for this kind of moment you must be more defensive, strategic when attacking and dont let them see you a lot
one thing you can do is use the super start on skill 3 and in lvl 3 upgrade the skill 1
the skill 1 will be on level 2 but at least is long enough to attack at a considerable distance
then on level 4 you can unlock skill 2 ig
i dont usually rely that much on s1 so it always works fine with me anyways
oh and also you must almost always fight with your allies on your side, so that they can interrupt the enemy attacking you for a while
keep your distance and dont fight alone
Hit combos?
yes
use s3, then use s1 to decrease s3's cooldown too, then s2 and keep attacking normally then repeat
try to always be next to clouds or grass, and if so, hide and hit with normal attack and s2
you can hit and stack effects attacking and getting back to the cloud or grass, and doing this it will also decrease a lot of enemy's hp
and while invisible or hiding, Hit has a longer hit range so you have to make a good use of this always
attack but keep your cool and dont rush straight to the enemy with everything you have
@somber tinsel appreciate you
Hey guys,do you have any good hit players who's matches I can watch? I dont get him
Hit mains, nah
but Abehiti is good as Hit
who is the best helper for hit?
Invisible man
why?
invisible man and bubbles
to take out gods of destruction without being visible
Hit's best thing is being invisible, you can take advantage for this
but it doesnt last for too long like invisible man
It doesnt really have that much value imo, people can still stop you hitting GOD. You want to be attacking people and sometimes its a waste of a helper because you cant get to use it.
The speed boost helper is probably best all round helper
Marked is ok too, but movement speed is best
it's the same waste as using Bubbles to run away and then you get jumped anyways
invisible man IS good
and mostly players dont even mind to guard their towers because they focus too much on bosses
and also they surrender fast once you take out some of their towers
the role of the tech is to support fights and be sneaky to take out the gods of destructions, they are not supposed to fight alone by themselves and they move fast, its a point to escape and to get to the towers faster than the others
Sure if you are fighting bots invisible man could be useful but you prob could just hit the tower regardless
Hit is a fighting support, everything about him is to kill people. His 4 man ult at bosses is goated
If you are only hitting towers as hit you are trolling. Hit is good because he can kill anyone and perma stun people
Which is more impactful than focusing towers. Focusing towers is situational depending where enemies are position
Invisible man doesnt get used at all most games while you could have a helper you can use like marked or speed even if you are bad and get ambushed after.
Hit is not an easy character too, but to use him best you got to get better mechanically and kill people
Invisible man could be used to charge up a max burst without being seen but id rather use ult while everyone is focused on boss
Ye but the amount of times you get to use that is next to zero
Its good but I barely get to use it
Pick Shu if you want to play it safe in case there’s another Hit enemy or you can just run Bubbles/Bulla
anyone got any hit builds and or tips?
I mainly run, snowball, art of decoy (interchangeable with solid barrier), and backstab
same. snowball barrier backstab
you dont get it, invisible man is useless for that reason because you can still see the orange little balls gone in the map, which tells if someone is killing the npcs
for bosses it doesnt even counts because no one will let them be, bosses need to be taken down, in matter of seconds someone or all the team will go straight to them and make your invisible man useless anyways
yes you can hit the tower regardless of invisible man, but that's exactly the point why invisible man is the best for this, because you can do an Gekishin Max at the tower without being seen and still continue to hit the tower
without invisible man, your icon will be visible at the minimap for the enemies, which they will see that you're trying to take their tower down
with invisible man, they will think that you're not at their tower and may be somewhere else
this is a surprise attack when nobody is near the tower, i dont get why is it so hard to you guys understand this
when you use s3 with Hit and inflict damage on the tower, you will be visible after hitting the tower and then gone again if s3's cooldown isnt over yet
they can still see you in the minimap and physically as you hit the tower
but when you use invisible man, you cannot be seen attacking the tower, but can be seen physically if they go to the tower you're at
try it and see it by yourself in a custom mode
man you trippin now so hard
if he's about killing people, why isnt he a DPS character?
you dont even know what you're saying
why was i wrong about tech's role? try to kill AoE characters for example
they will break your s3 and you'll be visible anyway without being much able to run nor hit and stack, which the best characteristic point of Hit is to attack enemies while invisible, not the opposite
even his Ult can't do much when fighting alone against an AoE or other specific characters, you will hit them but that skill require you to attack one single time and move
you hit them and they will spam attacks and break your invisibility anyways without allowing you to attack while invisible
trolling? i started to play as Hit in the very end of the Season 2 and i won so many times taking towers away without being seen that i got the top 1000 Hit badge in S3 being in top 700 and a bit
it's called game objective, your main objective in a whole team is to get a victory taking out enemies' towers and grab their dragon ball before they get yours
it's not like i only focused on damaging towers, you're right that Hit is good to kill and stun, that's his best things he can do, and i did it
he needs to provide assistance and stun enemies, but not alone all the time
it's not about killing only or damaging towers only, it's about doing both
but not forgetting your main objective and the use of your skills which will lead to your objective better than the others
that's what im talking about, and that's the whole point
you can take out their towers faster when using Gekishin Max
remember, the whole point of Hit is to be invisible, you can take advantage of that easily more than you think, and that's where you fail to realize because you think killing is more important than doing the game's main objective
if you don't care about the game and just like to kill enemies, use a DPS character then, Hit is not for you
just think, if you're taking out the towers while everyone is doing bosses, the enemies will start to be more defensive to prevent you from taking out their towers
while they are defending, you can farm xp killing npcs and helping on bosses
if they are not defending, you can take out their towers and win the game before they kill all the 3 bosses in a row, if they do
in one way or the other, you'll still make them lose something and reducing their defensive area
while you take out their towers and making them all more defensive, your towers won't be affected at all so much
sure someone will try to attack yours, and this is when you take out theirs and get back to protect yours
attack, defend and support teammates
that's all about
Yea I agree. I often eun invisible man for the same reason. People on solo queue wont even bother to go for the bosses. Its infuriating. Hit going for bosses is a disaster without his team. In such instance I would rather sk3 put invisible man and max burst. If my team does go for the boss, I don't mind using ult to blind enemies and even stun or taking out their dps/boss killer unit
Counterpoint, they intentionally made Towers take less damage early to decentivize this playstyle, and I think he has a point until around level eight, you are more effective as a skirmisher than you are as an objective securedunit as any Tech prior to the Debuff going away
Invisible man seems to be a skill check in regards to how useful it is, which is to say the better the opponent is the lower its value, where the movement speed bumps are always useful because it helps you with positioning both for yourself and your team, and can be left to assist your team while you do other things, which is the true value of being able to stealth around. Which is why his super works the way it does, same logic, you can use it and then go do something else.
Hit is a single blow character, it's too risky to take bosses by himself landing the last hit correctly with the correct amount of damage. His punches inflicts more on enemies than bosses early game, so the best you can do as him is, or use Gekishin Max in a tower or use the Ult to help your allies fighting the boss, making enemies blind and barely see the boss' health bar, which is a good help assistance for your teammates
Single blow character
Has a passive that actively encourages two hits with a baked in reset mechanic on s3
I feel as if you , like me in the past, are underselling his offensive capabilities (not against bosses we agree that’s his weakest point by far)
well I agree on all of that, sometimes that strategy using invisible man requires a good and well-communicated team instead of solo queue, and about the tower damage nerf, I can say that every hit on them counts even if deals a little bit, since now I can see a lot of players ignoring bosses to damage towers while everyone is on bosses too and it's been an inconvenience for my teams
I'm not talking about his usage, I'm talking about his attacks as they way they is
or will you say that S1 and S2 does multiple attack hits like Goku SSJ3's Super Kamehameha, for example?
Im literally top 30 hit right now. Top means nothing just highest score in 1 game.
Look i understand it's easier to hit towers. But in real lobbies even with the regular bottom S players they still defend towers. Hit is hard man I get it, but his best strength is fighting people.
You can literally backdoor and hit towers whatever build you go too, if people aren't paying attention.
My last game I went 12/2/8 245k damage All S lobby. Strategic escape, prepare to die, and backstab. With bubbles. You could backdoor with that too but I just kill everyone at obj.
with snowball?
Strat escape bro
Ive tried many times now snowball just aint as good as strat escape
Way better movement
How to make most of bubbles. Coz its not like he's gonna follow around. Its a 1 time speed boost thingy
I wanna get bettr at using him ngl
When you in trouble he helps you get away and can catch people too
Helps team too
Honestly all other helpers feel pretty mid compared to bubbles
Yea I hear this alot
Its why I wanna know his placement
Most of them are straightforward. Invisible man mayor shuu rildo etc
Like i never noticed shu being helpful, invis man too, farmer maybe? But you are meant to s1 then rush/s2 then come back again. Maybe farmer vs tanks idk
I've been using invisible man. In B league to lower As ur teammates aint it. Maybe in high As or S is where teammates are strong and opponents are attentive to towers too
Invisible man been helping alot but I'm down to start testing bubbles now
If invis works keep using it bro but for me its always just sat there doing nothing lol
There are times when my team has lost both bosses and at least one tower. Thats when enemies start maybe to defend or camp. At that point invisible man becomes useless
Maybe you get 1 chance per game to use it when boss spawns and the xeno is in opposite lane
yeah i mostly use this one
but sometimes i see S players using snowball
i dont find that such a bad idea tho, Hit can escape from a fight easier than most of the other chars being invisible if player is in danger for losing his 5 stacks
but i can barely imagine any difference as 5 snowballs stack for Hit
i might try that later to see if it works out well in rank match
you have a point
bubbles is the best helper imo
you can even use it to help allies to run away in a battle if they are dying too
it's really helpful all the time
you can use to help teammates to survive and run; give you and your allies speed to reach faster to a tower or catch an enemy running away; and you can use it to get faster to your tower to defend and stop enemies attacking the tower
oh and also hit a enemy tower and run away faster along with strategic escape
Its goated best overall card for obj and fighting no downside.
For helper i think it still depends on the matchup and divine draw imo
Sometimes i like using Shu the most because i can use it to give my teammates vision especially bosses
I stopped using shu because it felt like hte marked wasnt that big of a deal lol
maybe it helps team know where people are though for a brief period of time
I think shu is probably second best helper
Geki high can definitely be godly when people dont pay attention you can insta kill a god of destruction
i never needed shu, i can see and hear enemies even if they are not visible on the minimap
but shu is helpful a lot for those who doesnt know how to find and hear them, and shu is even more helpful for Goku SSJ3 so that he can tp and kill the enemy if the hp is low
even with that tower damage nerf in early game, gekishin max at the start can change the fate of the match sometimes, it will give you the upper hand on towers since your team have more and the enemies just lost one
it's important the same as attacking enemies first in the start of the game
along with killing kai's before them
i never really noticed it did anything for me at least maybe my team
ye
What card would be better for hit, solid barrier or prepare to die ?
Depends how you play, i prefer prepare to die tbh
it actually works
Is full red hit viable? I’ve seen it in YouTube videos and it looks fun but I’m trying to hit A so I don’t wanna throw my games.
there is no viable red card to go on hit for the third card
all red is useless, just go backstab
the third card must be always that one for 2x vanishing step
yeah for damage but not for a general strategic
Backstab also doubles for a better crowd control, even if you aren’t focusing on damage hit your stuns are valuable late game
Ye its kinda goated at locking people down
Yo I have a question
How do you deal with hit on defense?
On towers or even catch him out if his stealth can freely grant insane movespeed for him to leave
another question too is there anyway to remove his debuff blind ?
I don't think so, If there's a hit you gotta pair up with someone on your team so he wouldn't even have a chance to inflict it in the first place.
he still does though
i feel like the movespeed he gets from invis level 3 makes him rly unkillable unless he makes a massive misatke
unless yuo get hard cc'd and hit out of invis its hard to pin him down, especially with strat escape barrier and lbj but hes easier to pin down vs dmg hit
what do you do against vegito. is there any answer to this character as hit?
don't 1v1 him if you don't want to be revealed all the time, attack from distance using s1 and stunning with s2
just when you hit him, he will clean the area with a long range attack (idk which of the skills), and that's when you keep your distance
attack but keep your space from his range, he's going to go all out once you hit him
Thank you, I'm just tired of seeing vegito and feeling utter dispar
same, he's annoying I can tell
the only way to kill him is to attack from a long distance where he cannot hit you with one of his skills
keep hitting away from him and when his hp is low, go for it
the same for Broly
and attack him predicting he will attack next out of nowhere
so be careful
So it's a game of poke and seek. Poke him until he either gets annoyed enough to press a button or continue until you know rotation will kill
exactly
the main point for Hit is being invisible because he inflicts more damage as he is, but what to do if the enemy keeps breaking your main skill? the only thing you can do is attack from distance, because there's no point in 1v1 Vegito face to face if you can't use your skills correctly while Vegito can and will kill you fast because he doesn't need to be invisible to attack you at his best
I had a hard time a lot of times fighting face to face against Broly and Vegito, it's no use at all and you'll get killed
when I started to attack and keep a certain distance where he could not see me nor hit me from long distance, I got the upper hand and I could take out his snowballs
with like 50% left of my hp
Just got to pick your engages, can farm him early game tho
But hes easy to deal with s1 s2 full dmg with back stab
Are you 3
hits better lol
Stfu mud
no
As a top 300 hit maim for 3 seasons in a row (and star lvl 9 on hit) I can say ult rathan is better than hit. Hits entire playstyle can be countered by just spamming aoe around you and by shu
Hit is in a bad place this meta. Hit heavily relies on his Dimension Infiltration and in this current meta of long ranged heros who can all
Spam aoe Hit is in the worst place hes been since release even tho he hasnt been directly nerfed
To all new players or people who want to learn Hit, Dont. Hit gets countered wayy to easily just learn to play another fighter
I actually still like playing hit tbh, regardles of all the spam available
If anything it just feels like a challenge of how well can i stun lock someone until their deaths
You aren't a true main till you hate your main with a passion of a thousand suns
I remember hit being bugged where he was permanently marked by shu
that was stupid
Even today i still see bugs
Like i fought a hit where
His 1 was bugged
EVERYONE can see his 1 range indicator
So even when he's invisible we can clearly tell where he is
😭😭😭
I swear keflas attacks for some reason LOVE to track hit even after usjmg s1. Happens to me more with that green haired rat than the entire roster combined
Yeah that's one of the reasons why when i use hit i always try to become extremely patient as possible especially when its against aoe chars
And not to mention ranged character still being able to attack you with ranged rush even after you step out of their fov when they haved fear stacks
His combos are so ping reliant too its annoying
The difference between 40ms and 10ms
jesus
Ive gotten used to terrible bi-polar wifi thanks to spectrum but playing hit with 200+ is another circle of hell altogether
I swear, i feel like new characters get an extra buff of being able to track hit from very clearly out of their bubble after being marked by fear of death
The devs are isreali at heart it seems
Btw, do y’all think hit might be a somewhat good counter to kefla?
Besides her skills being huge aoe, I feel like hits mobility and stealth if played right could be a huge counter to kefla that likes to dash around everywhere
It stops her momentum and brings her health down to half at cost of a couple skill combos
And then you can ult to secure the kill or just stalk the rest of the time until she falls back pretty eliminating a nuisance for your team
As a top 10 hit every season and probably one of the greatest of all time I say stop copeing. Hit is very strong, plug your controller into your pc and abuse the aim assist. Learn to space and engage correctly vs specific characters. Your s1 has unlimited ranged. I play damage hit and have to be up close. What happens when gothan ults? you walk away LOL
You can be in E-rank have 1 perfect game and be top 10. This games leaderboard doesnt mean anything. Sure you CAN spam deathblow to obscure their vision but guess what????? These mew characters are so braindead they can just aim in your general vicinity and still get alot of value with their aoe. You can TRY to wait out their cooldowns but since they also have great movement they can just
Outrun you in s1 and get to safety
Hit is a potential man. If i could post images i would show you my slander meme but Hit lives and dies by his “potential”
Hit is theoretically good. Hes a potential man
You just need to roll the dice every game to not get matched up against characters with great aoe and movement like kefla, broly, vegito (should be simple considering they are totally not the most popular characters atm)
Besides encouraging auto aim (I took it off cuz it’s done more harm than good for me), I agree with you. Hit is super strong, at first I thought he gets countered by all these new heroes but you really just have to play around their kits and learn to thrive
I’ve been playing too much hit recently so I’ve actually forgotten how broken ulthan still is… because as hit you have so much of an advantage against ulthan
I rock the double dash instead of backstab card and anytime I see a large aoe, two dashes plus invis is enough to get out of any situation regardless of the character or however large their aoe is
Like I don’t agree with you on this point. He’s not theoretically good. He’s really freaking good as he is now regardless of however much aoe spam there is atm
I don’t think any character except techs with strategic escape have ever been able to outrun me, that includes kefla
Hit is the most matchup dependent character in the game. A lot of his worst matchups unsupriseingly are the best characters in the game. You CAN just go around their huge aoe but that would be leaving your dps alone to face the brunt of 2 characters attack all meanwhile you slowly walk towards the enemy. Then they can just bruteforce the tower because hot is a terrible defender. What you two seem to be forgetting is thag this is a team game and most of the time you’re not alone
And dont forget shu who can just counter your entire kit. Ive seen alot of my teammates die bcuz the enemy tech placed down a shu and i couldnt get out of the radius fast enough and couldnt deal enough dmg to help
I agree with you heavy
I still go strategic escape, solid barrier, and double vanish to this day
Hit's cds are so low backstab is just not needed
Plus double vanish is a way for me to guarantee my invisible with my 3
And also an easier way for me to rat gods lol
Yeah shu fucks hit up sometimes, that's why i usually save my ult for it so that way i would still be fine
some people here think Hit is capable of taking out aoe characters by himself without assistance
bro is a tech not a dps and still they try to force that
Fr unless they are braindead or their controller died or game crashed they are not gonna stand still as you slowly kill them with deathblow from a mile away
No duh, that’s why you gotta get good and hit aoe characters with a combo of either s1 and enhanced rush attack (era) or s1 s2 and then run away
One combo can do anywhere from half to a quarter of their health, that’s enough to help your teammates get the kill, plus the aoe character now has limited vision
You can do a quick combo yes but thats not gonna kill them and its not nearly enough dmg to help your teammate unless they are 1/3 hp and sure it will limit their vision but these characters have so much aoe that they dont need to see. They just need to aim in your general solar system and they can hit you. Sure YOUVE moved but your teammate? Dead.
You keep thinking of these situations where your teammate responds perfectly and plays perfectly targetting the opponet you debuffed. When will you learn that most dps just rush in and hope for the best
So do you think unless you’re able to kill the enemy player then you’re not doing anything for your team?
But also, when you hit ppl with the combo and then dash away. Do you seriously think players remembered “oh this is exactly where the 1 hp player and I predict they’ll be here at this spot so lemme chuck my aoe?”
What they see is you, as hit, dash away so they chase you not the 1hp person
And don’t forget, your combo slows ppl down, it might not stun but it’s long enough time to let your teammate escape out of their field of view, leaving your afterimage as the last person they saw left
I’ve saved so many teammates from literal death just by doing a quick combo and dipping. Like I don’t need to kill them to contribute
Like cool I didn’t kill em, but at least my guy didn’t die, and now the enemy can’t see and I can just play around with them
I can top damage in s lobbies, most of the time im just stomping lol
unles you run into some cringe top of the leaderboard 4 stacks
maybe you guys need a hit content creator
you talking like this can do every time against every enemy
well if you're teamed up with your friends of course you will win more
but its funny to see how such people are so fascinated about killing enemies like a dumb instead of winning the match
like bro killing everyone wont give you a win, think with your head not your gut
for solo q like most here, we cant communicate well with a random team when everyone is just trying to do what they know, its harder to win as solo than in a full team yk
Yes you absolutely can do this against every character. Do you know how much distance you cover with double vanish and invis??? I get out of range from from everything, even a max level broly ult from the epicenter
Yes!!! Me too
Not at all, I’m solo q the whole time and still come out in top damage/kills AND GoD damage
Then tell me how you’re expected to win matches if not killing as hit??? There are two ways, kill the boss or destroy the gods. If you go destroy the gods good, it brings someone back to the base making boss fight 3v3 and then leave to fight with your team. Now are you going to sit there and do nothing or try and steal boss or go for enemy player kills?
ofc it works literally, im talking about the way you say which means it makes Hit a total killer character who can totally focus on enemies
But you can, some characters are harder to kill like zamasu imo, but that could just be my lack of skill but almost all characters are easy to solo out
take a breath, i'll make it clearer for you to understand what i meant
what I meant is
these guys are using Hit ONLY to kill enemies, and I mean enemy players, not gods nor bosses
unfortunately we do have these kind of players everywhere which only strives for killing, but in this case, that's why the DPS role exists
but still people are focusing only to kill with other roles
like, you can try it too by yourself: play a quick match with your team having bots while the enemy team have 2 players and 2 bots
go for the kill, forget bosses and gods of destruction
you will see that killing everyone doesn't matter in the match, it won't bring you the victory
now did I make it clear?
you sure can kill with Hit of course, and you have to, and even more assist your teammates
but as Hit you have to go for the bosses and gods of destruction too, like literally that's the game's objective, why is it so hard for some to understand this
they say Hit is a killer, but being a Tech character? that doesn't make any sense
now tell me, is it right to play as Hit only to go after enemy players?
what matters for you? win or kill?
yeah we all can, the same as I can play with Bojack as a tank
we can do everything
but that's not the point
the point is the objective of the player, which decides what he's going to do in a match
focusing on killing one player it's okay, but I'm talking about making this as a main objective in the whole match
"yea I'll use Hit and hunt each of enemy players down till they die, I don't care about assisting others nor bosses nor gods"
Honestly, thats a valid ahh strat too. I do that when i see the enemy kefla or piccolo dominating my team
i'll focus them the whole time if it means my team stays alive and can do their jobs
I play solo lol
I dont think you understand you cant just back door and win games at s rank lol
i had nearly 20 win streak on damage hit last season solo q
that's a circumstance, not a main objective through the whole match
before snowball changes
if the enemies are dominating, we do have to kill them and take out their snowballs if they have
but don't forget about killing their gods and bosses
they still will respawn anyways
and get back to protect the god or finish the boss
it's not that simple
