peak unlimited shouldn't be any more unstable than any other more players mod, it does the same thing as the other mods more or less (just changes a number to let there be more players)

Peaker removes collision off of dead players no other mod afaik disables collision on dead players. When a play dies in game they dont actually "die" their body is moved 11,000 meters into the sky and a skeleton model is placed where you died at. When your body is stored with like 8 other people tho its constantly moving around/colliding with other "dead" people causing lag. With dead player collision disabled it makes the game run just a tiny bit better and depending how many players you got can be a pretty big boost of performance. If you plan on running public lobbies you will be using peaker compared to anything else anyways due to its banning capability.

If you dont like how poorly mesa runs you can use this mod along with this config to cycle out mesa maps to have better fps.

You could try swapping launch options

Open task manager click performance click gpu look at dedicated gpu memory this is your vram. HD peak will only help you if your gpu is running out of vram. Otherwise open nvidia control panel head to manage 3d settings go to add a program add peak.exe. Change EVERY setting to application controlled or disabled. Turn off steam overlay turn discord overlay off. Change your game to windowed mode.

Your game is randomly crashing then cause A you're running out of vram or B you're trying to run vulkan in full-screen which vulkan isn't designed for. And from personal experience windowed full-screen is still buggy. Change to windowed

lotta cpu issues would be fixed if the devs just evaporated the player then recreated the player at statue respawn rather than storing them 11,000 meters in the sky id rather take a performance hit at respawn statue rather the entire game

or just disabled player physics when theyre "dead" and not colliding with other dead people

frozen dead player physics alongside of lammas disabled dead player collision would be magical

or if the devs added a spooky fog that culled the inside of the canyon would potentially increase mesa performance

optimization is a skill that takes a lot of learning tho and when everyone has a nasa pc these days its normally at the very bottom of priority

game is also just janky im on pretty old hardware but i know games that can actually utilize your full cpu if i opened yt and tried to watch a yt vid with uncapped fps in 7 days to die for example my yt vid would lag alongside of my game. Meanwhile on peak im only at 70% or 80% max and stuck at low fps but my youtube video runs fine. All i know is something is wrong with the game itself

my average cpu usage for peak is like 40 to 50% with just random spikes up to that 70% or 80% something is wrong lmao

lets take gta iv euphoria ragdolls for example, very realistic ragdolls but your body isnt physics based the entire game. In a perfect world peaks ragdolls wouldnt be so animated all the time and only get physics based stuff when its actually needed but that would take some major re work

change your graphics to max with a uncapped fps and see what your gpu usage is in solo

if its at 95% turn culling distance to like 1250 or 1000 to make it drop to 70% or 80 for example

game is again poorly optimized for cpus tho

so its only really gonna help your gpu

sounds about right, laptops were designed to fail in like 2 to 5 years max just cause their components are small and naturally have a lower lifepsan than actual desktop components. If you want your laptop to live as long as possible make sure it doesnt heat up and cool down fast as this can shorten its lifespan even quicker. When you finally shut down peak let your laptop idle on desktop for like 30 mins before fully shutting down

yes. I already limited the cpu clock speed to a speed that seemed fairly balanced and consistent to me

amd 6800h clocked at 4.7ghz maxed but i always see MSI overlay showing me it can maintain 4.2 but Ive set it 4ghz to also help with cooling

my rtx 3060 130w tdp gpu is undervolted and underclocked to 1740mhz so it rans like below 70w on average

Before I reply, I'm the peak unlimited mod author so naturally I'm biased. Both mods raise the lobby limit and spawn extra marshmallows and work fine if that's all you want.

On top of this peak unlimited can:

• give you extra backpacks proportional to the number of players maintaining the balance of the original game
• lock the start game kiosk to host only
• has an in game menu to configure the mod with easily (press F2 to open it)
• everything is configurable and everything I add always will be

more scouts has a fireplace mod built into it which changes the fireplace to never stop cooking, it also stops your hunger draining while you're next to it.

Thank you. Coding cat did the modeling on most items. i did most of the coding

the melon is like the coconut but in the junle on bushes and vines. it also splits into 4 instead of 2
the ice lolly has multiple uses but when you use it up you are left with a stick. will you litter?
the sticky plaster is just a lesser bandage
the crisps give you energy or heat.
the gob stopper you have to lick over and over again to get to the high energy core.
the extra extreme energy drink gives you both infinete stamia and speed boost (but will fully put you to sleep afterwards).
the can of beans is meant to give you a bit of a jump boost but that effect doesn't seem to be actually implimented despite being in the code
