it’s understandable in caldera or kiln because… you’re in a volcano or above lava

but the sun shouldn’t sear your skin immediately - unlike real life where there’s a second or two before your skin reacts and it’s hot

It's only 25% for the tomb entrance to spawn, which means it'll be 1/8 runs once the Mesa is only 50/50. That being said, today there is an easy to find spot early in Mesa where you can fall through the open floor into the end of the tomb.
