Yea, I was trying to get 2 badges at once. By the end of Caldara, I had so many anti ropes, hooks, chain launchers the not leaving anything on the mountain went out the window. I just used everything to make my way up.

You have to open the scroll at the lit campfire ON TOP of the biome so if you want the tropics scroll you need to light the fire thats on top of the tropics zone not at the bottom

Ascensions or difficulty do not affect page spawns, every page can spawn on tenderfoot or above.

If a player reads a page out of order, the page will still be marked as read, BUT the steam achievement progress will not update until all pages before that page have been read. For example if a player reads pages 1, 2, 3, and 5, their achievement progress will say 3/8 but when they read the 4th page, it will jump to 5/8

we have had way harder alpine

and way easier tropics

mostly, tropics is hard because people don't see how well they can climb trees, the roots, and the vines.

I have personally never had any trouble in tropics, and that's also because you can't rely as much on items in tropics like in alpine

since the path is hard to see you'll most likely use an item and reach nowhere

• Dying at the end (when "PEAK" pops up), skips the flare and helicopter fly-in sequence, you go straight to the cutscene
