You can just not use the link, and there is a mod to allow the host to kick players. Only add people as friends and invite them each by hand, and you will not be filled with random hackers.

Peak Ban Host on thunderstore. I downloaded it yesterday but have not needed to use it. But you should mainly use the friend system on steam and actually check the people you let join. Even if you can kick someone, a hacker will still ruin a run before you know who to kick

I know you manipulate the RPCs in-game and force the server to do something (like telling it to launch a bee attack). In version 1.1.2 of PeakBanMod, all these RPCs will be blocked and you will just keep pressing the button, nothing will happen and your big name will appear in the logs 🙂
