1. the speed run of the entire game is about 12 mins. but most normal players can complete it in 40mins to an hour. with new players being a bit longer than an hour.

2. once you get to a campfire at the top of a biome and light it, you can quit out and carry on where you left off later. saves only reset if the actual game is updated

Not if you play in a trio or squad. Playing alone is good for learning fast but its also really unfavorable for someone looking to have a good time because you're stuck with your own thoughts and no one to help if you fall along the way

90% of my games are with random squads or trios. Playing alone is too tiresome without mods or a liking to the game. I do like sometimes vanilla solo but its only for challenges

so pretty much, when you press start run, you can pick an "ascent" level

the base is called "PEAK" if I remember correctly, and above that is "Ascent 1" through to "Ascent 7"

and each ascent level adds one challenging modifier to your climb

then number of Ascent dictates the number of modifiers you have to deal with

I must say, I like the game, bought it in the end. Played with some very cool people over lfg vanilla.

Only problem is that the game "burns" GPU (I have RTX 3070). I put everything on native and high and lock it on 120 fps. And it goes sometimes a little bit over 80 degrees celsius. Usually, on any other games, 70-75 is max.

3070? you have a cooling issue. there may not be correct airflow in your pc

im on a 2070 and i can run everything on high at 2k res and get 200 fps
