Can someone explain how mouse movement impacts climbing? I see the mouse movements in the Piano's tech thread but I don't really get what exactly they do. Are hands somehow tied to the direction you're looking so by say, looking up when you start climbing and then moving mouse down you get some extra distance?

Because terrain is not always consistent so where you were aiming before isn't necessarily always the highest point. It's not necessary, it's just a little bit of fine tuning you could add to be a little extra sweaty

And in tonight's news: the biggest fall I have ever experienced

I was somewhere around 80-90% of the way to the campfire in ROOTS when a beetle surprised me, flung me off the side of the tiny ledge on which I was perched, and the wind caught me in midair.
I then proceeded to fall well over 100m, somehow only sustaining 85% damage and having 7 stamina left... I would have survived long enough to get my first-aid kit from my backpack if I hadn't kept tumbling.

The second fall brought me past 100% damage. But did it stop there?

NO IT DID NOT

I just kept rolling more and more until coming to a stop at the bottom of the mountain. All in all, I fell some 400m or so, from close-enough-to-see-smoke to the very bottom.

120% damage, 30% spore, 15% Hungry, 15% carry weight.

That's 180% of not-good, booboo.

You can remove achievements from your account to get rid of the cheated badges. Idk where Ascent data is stored but it's somewhere in your files

Yeah all your badges are tracked purely with your steam achievement data. That means you can easily remove steam achievements to remove badges
