Can anybody help me with the scoutmaster badge? I'm usually playing with 4-5 other people. They've had no problems encountering the scoutmaster. They let me go ahead and I've gotten to the top over 10 times already, usually 300-400 meters ahead of everybody. He's never once been triggered. The only mod we have is installed with the host of the game: Peak Unlimited but I don't believe it's the issue since others have gotten the achievement

Could be if you start moving at 'x' speed, game rolls a did evey so often to see if the Mandrake escapes, with the odds more in their favor the faster you go, with it being guaranteed at a certain speed (maybe being knocked by wind?)

I think its a little more nuanced. People that want to cannon glitch dont gaf about badges and want to do sillies, they will never complete the game normal if they havent already. rope tech is fudging some harder badges currently and sometimes is brought up when people grief them, it was fun while we had it but I think it can come back in a real mechanic

if you are willing to wait and its not alpine you could camp off a stable platform ,drop your bag/weight, keep every stamina in good shape disregarding cold and you should be able to get through the night even if you faint for a bit
