just what i say to everyone, if youre new dont be afraid of using items if you need to! Lots of people hold onto items 'incase they need them for later'

but at the start of each biome theres lots of items for you

so last thing you want to do is fail a run because you didnt use an item cos you were holding onto it for later

(kiln is the very last area - just to provide context to the above) , and yes, items are important in kiln, but you probably wont reach there for your first few attempts

@deft kraken you can save items for the kiln, but there will also be 6 suitcases before the kiln around the statue. But there's a chance you'll get bad RNG so at least save 1-2 good climbing items (rope launcher/chainlauncher)

@deft kraken one tip you wont find in the beginner guide:

Start on Tenderfoot difficulty. You're learning the game so there's not really a point on doing a harder difficulty; you might just end up playing shore and tropics (and dying) a lot instead of learning the later biomes if its too difficult. Peak for the first time (or two), then switch to the normal "peak" difficulty.
