@stray daggerAnnoyingly, it seems you can't easily join links to games in Game mode. But it works fine from Desktop, as I said: copy link and paste it into Konsole like steam <link>. Then you switch controls to controller mode by holding and you can play

So, an email was sent to the PEAK team regarding the history behind the Pith Helmet. That being said paired with the less than questionable history behind it (besides the every day uses for it), the devs saw it was the right decision to remove it-- and rightfully so, as a lot of the team is from the European regions that were affected.

The helmet being removed has caused a lot of heated arguments regarding it, as some people would rather have it back while a lot have come to terms with its removal.
I'm sure there will be a mod to add it back, but until then?? Somebody could easily email them with a request to add it back to the game.

Vulkan is what's recommended for lower-end pcs. Dx12 is recommended for beefier setups that can run the highest settings. But ymmv, some people find Dx12 is smoother even on a lower-end pc
