The game can be closed, however if you have it running, make sure it is in the main menu (and NOT the airport).
If nothing happens after that it means the lobby is full - They tend to fill up very fast!

Also, game inv links don't work on the steam deck if youre using that and you will need to do it through steam friends instead

Yeah it's not a friendly one if you're solo. I used a lot of vines on the right hand side and then some anti rope to get high enough to cross the land bridge on the tallest pillar on the right. The rest is a breeze from there. Tropics biome def needs some rework overall imo. It often has too many dead ends for the second biome of the gamme

For asc 5+ just always take the lantern you get for free from the shore. If you end up slow on Shore and not make it close to campfirr before night, you need that lantern anyway

I like the challenge of the other biomes (excluding the shore cos it's easy) cos of the different routes you can find, but I don't find that the tropics has many choices a majority of the time. The challenge, imo, is often more frustrating than it is fun

Personally I think tropics regularly is somewhat easy, it just has risky and challenging parts
But once you get some of those parts, it has very obvious paths that get you a good distance

Tropics is just where your path finding skills are tested

Me talking to you guys has helped me realize that the lack of it in the tropics (at least for my eye problems) is why I struggle so much with it.
