While running, yeah just spam space while sprinting to lunge jump. It will eat your extra stamina if you have any though

Climbing you can lunge when you're near the ledge you want to climb to climb it really fast, speed runners will optimize their timing and pathing to usually only climb with enough stamina to get the job done from what I can tell

it's really not that hard but nah sometimes there's grass and I just slip and die

the easiest way to get naturalist is to play with friends, and steal their marshmallows. Capybaras for yellow winterberries help too, you can also get honeycomb and eggs, its not super hard, you just have to be careful of the fog

If you are seeking an easier way through the jungle, try climbing on the right side, with all the poisonous thorns. You'll have to climb around them, but there's a lot more easy ledges on that side.
