my two tips are to just stop and look around sometimes and to lunge when you have close to 0 stamina left to save your extra energy as if you lunge after your energy hits 0 it will drain a bunch, you can use the extra energy to lunge twice wich is very useful

It's either a conflicting difference of ping, your mods installed, files not installed, or your game version. It an also just behave like you're a rectangle trying to go into the square hole with 0 clearance.

the caldera and kiln should be classified as horror games, i've never shaken more from a game in my life, playing singleplayer on your first run of the day with a bunch of hard badges on the line while rocks are exploding lava is gurgling and you are constantly getting burnt is horrifying

Spicey map is easy. Kiln requires way more prep. Just be patient when treading on the hot ground and you can easily make it past. Just make sure to stash some extra food. Eggs are pretty good too if you can find them and store them in your bag.

Are they eating around the same times as you the same amount? If you're fine they should be too. Make sure they're eating in shore and tropics, the places with the most food but also make sure they keep some for the rest of the areas. Alpines is somewhat fine depending on your rng for winterberries

that bug is def reported, youll find it. I think its related to GPU. Can always do the standard stuff, force quit steam, veriffy integrity of files and unisntall reinstall

It has to be through mods, as the vanilla doesn't have an option to join or create public lobbies. You have to be invited directly by steam.
