i had that problem but i started the game on the Vulcan(i think thats what it was called) but i switched to the DLX (or what ever the other verison was) and it fixed the Voiping issue for me. you can adjust this in the steam settings for the game

If you read the scroll, it's like, you exhausted the spawn for the day. It will no longer show in any other climb you make for the rest of the day until a new mountain arrives. That's were my questions lies, 'cause you don't know if the scroll spawned today until someone had finished todays climb.

Yeah, the host is the one that sets the difficulty, so the invited players play on that regardless if the had unlocked those leves yet or not.
