Suggestion swap Nether gauntlet and Blackstone Golem in the campaign. The nether gauntlet especially on harder difficulties does hella damage and one shots you most of the time, on the flip side blackstone golem is an absolute joke of a boss. Swapping these 2 bosses in the progression would make the nether gauntlet much more achievable due to being able to access the end dimension for Galena, tier 3 trinkets and more upgrades which would make the boss much better to fight against.

bro seriously turned it into a post? Well anyways im all for it
the gauntlet is genuinely hard
I considered doing a post a week ago but I didn't want alm to strike me down 😂
bro forgot that level scaling exists, that fucker's oneshotting you regardless lmao it doesn't matter what galena or trinkets you have access to
if anything golem just needs to be buffed because yeah at default values it's a pretty underwhelming boss
but i think that has more to do with how it's designed, it's slow asf, attacks slow asf, doesn't really do anything interesting
I played it at level 15 and it one shot me with full legendary prot 3 berserker armor
but to be real his abilites are quite difficult too, golem just moves around
good, people need to learn how to deal with proper boss attack patterns before they're halfway into the campaign getting by with basically standing still fighting stuff
the gauntlet serves as kind of a "rite of passage" boss, a much more difficult boss for where it is in the campaign that's basically gonna decide whether or not you're ready to tackle the rest of the chapter and beyond that
that does not mean i fight 2 hydrogen bombs at the start and then go on fight kids dubbed as "bosses"
i mean compared to conjunc and bgolem, lich and gauntlet might as well be hydrogen bombs
again, that's moreso because of how they're designed unfortunately, but both of those probably do need buffs
Thats fair but I still think it does a bit too much damage. For a guy with a basic knowledge of the pack it it is still a very difficult boss. The reason why I think the boss should be after the ender dragon is when you beat that you get access to the end which has a lot of upgrades in it like Galena and tier 3 trinkets
yea they seriously need, coz i didnt spend 2 hours for the shards just to fight a walking old golem
Please buff conj, it sucks. The only attack ive ever seen deal damage was the laser attack which i dont even see because i deal a lot of damage to it
Could there be a way to cap your level at a certain point when you want to. Maybe an item that blocks you from getting level XP so it's much easier to not overlevel
Have you played it on hard mode?
I have
I beat it on hardcore
On my most recent playthrough
Did you just dodge 100% of the attacks?
I mean no i didnt dodge them all perfectly but i still dodged enough to not die
Getting multi roll early game is the best way to defeat it
What was your armor, because when I played hard mode it one shot me if i even touched it
Full netherite assasin gear
With prot 4 on all
I usually get thr best things i can
Before defeating bosses
I do my boss run when i got evreything you can get without having to kill bosses
I prefer to get enough gear to beat the first boss and gradually upgrade myself as I go, if its too hard i leave, upgrade and come back. I think thats the most fun in my opinion
I prefer the late game
Or well anything after chapter 1
Thats more fun to me
tbh the hardest part of the entire modpack is pre end
I hate the dragon fight
I loved the eldrich eye compared to the dragon
That's not an uncommon thing
You can rush to like level 60+ enchanting pretty quickly in this pack
Still normal protection is a rare enchant
The dragon fight would have been great if the phantoms didn't deal a third of my health each time they hit me
I just hate how 90% of thr time u cant even touch the dragon
Eldritch eye is prob the best boss next to faceless in the entire pack
When it perches it almost impossible to hit it and the perches are very uncommon and short
Lowkey the dragon fight is the same as vanilla except it has phantoms
And they deal 2k damage
No?
the dragon fight didnt seem that hard?
yea he perched for short timings but he didnt deal some crazy attack to me either
The dragon was easy, it was the phantoms dealing a third of my health that was annoying. Every time they hit me I had to re heal and the crystals would keep respawning which I had to break, summoning more phantoms. Even during the night lich they did a crazy amount of damage.
It was only when I had a flying mount that I was able to deal damage to the dragon and avoid the phantoms
The phantoms were a boss on their own
It was so annoying
