Reason: let's think for a minute some of the weapons in the modpack are very hard hitting weapons but feel too slow. So slow it leaves you wide open for attacks especially when you have someone like the Frenzied Shade constantly attacking from all sides demolishing your health even with top tier armor. I find it's balanced cause you can only find it in dungeon chests and it's not even a good change you will find it. It can go all the way to X which may be insane yes however you realize how long that would take to find that many books? Plus I feel this could be a good quest getting a level X attack speed enchantment. Also when you have a weapon on attack speed X and using better combat your character looks hilarious 😂

in the grand scheme of things this wouldn't fit the pack at all, slow weapons are meant to be slow, that's just how it is, regardless of its ' hard to obtain ' quality this kind of defeats the purpose of some weapons being fast & some being slow. the entire point is to make the combat unique & fit in with specific builds. some utilize weapons that are slow, and equally as heavy hitting. weapons that are fast are utilized for dps builds. being able to add on additional attack speed to heavy hitting and slow weapons doesn't really hit the mark for the packs balancing aspect and honestly would not make some of the builds even fun to play with anymore. on a side note, there's only so much attack speed one could even have before the hits do not register at all. i can also see this enchant bringing unwanted exploits to the game if it were to be paired with other items that already grant decent attack speed.

There are two options here. Either this supposed enchant gives flat attack speed which is unbelievably unbalanced (feral claws are disabled for that very reason), or it gives percent attack speed which makes it no different than the plethora of other attack speed modifiers in the game

This item is disabled due to balancing reasons, it cannot be removed properly, thats why you most likely found it in a chest.
