surely it cant be that hard to add, so i assume it's excluded on purpose for some attempt at balancing?
not being able to make them out of wood logs/planks is just really odd. it feels really out of place in a realistic game to have a material gated like that.

Man good to see the progress they make. Im so glad you guys fix stuff even if people complain about mods breaking IN UNSTABLE what a shocker and not like other Slop companies like bethesda did with skyrim and called it a day. So everytime you fix something im so happy that this games gets better and better and i will be over the moon as soon as we reach stable branch because im hungry for build 42 and boy i waited long

You're right because the way animals migrate on rails but you don't know where on the rail they are means that even with 10 tracking you won't find them unless they just recently passed you

Just like a lot of other things it is an over engineered system that isn't even realistic. The rabbit that was in my backyard yesterday didn't walk all the way from Cincinnati to my yard

personally i think it should work in a way where you progressively find fresher tracks and eventually it just spawns the appropriate animal near you

It only happens to chickens because only chickens can go into hutches. If you don't want your chickens dying to meta predators while you're away, you can just not give them a hutch (or close the door and lock them out before you leave)

I always wondered why smoker doesn't impact fitness or some aspect of stamina. Seems like it could go a long way to balancing it if quitting becomes an option.
