when I create my server, the same thing happens. after creating the character, after all the downloads, when I should appear in the world, there is a black screen. without mods. I can't join a friend either
I checked on the regular version, not 42 - everything works
the drivers have been updated

You will need to remove any special characters from your steam name. There is a bug at the moment that stops people joining multiplayer with special characters in their name.
