Hello!

Because neither I nor gemini or chat gpt have a clue how to move around the project zomboid's debug or admin options, i wanted to ask a few questions n' stuff. In purpose of some scene shooting inside the game i wanted to:

  1. Make my in-game character invisible (no tags above, no shadow)
  2. Zoom really far away from my character
  3. (if possible) Make the characters field of view 360 degrees, so i can see everything around me while i'm shooting.
  4. (if possible) Make the whole building's structure not disappear after entering or standing close to them.

In order to do these things, google's gemini told me to access the lua debugger (F11) and toggle everything there, though, as this ai's suggestions don't always match what i see on my screen and make mistakes i wanted to share it with you, experts.

Could anyone help? I'd be VERY grateful as this is the last step i need to take.

Most of these tools are in version 42, since 41 does not have as many of them.

(1) To make your character invisible = Right click, Debug Menu, Debug UI (I think) & Hide player model, can hide player cursor this way too.

(2) To zoom really far out you need to make sure you have the zoom settings ticked for it in your display settings, if you tick them all you can zoom really close up or as far as your resolution will let you (You can't zoom all the way out to see areas like you can in the build 41/42 interactive maps say)

(3) Need to enable 'See all players' in admin cheats + you can pretty much disable their viewcone in display options too

(4) Filming tools in the Debug Right click menu allows you to mute menu sounds, disable fading, disable cutaways ect.

Extra = Climate controls allows you to enable desaturation and you can cull cloud shadows and fog if needed too

Thank you!, and is there any way to enable the 360 degree view?

It'd be perfect, if the field of view borders were gone too

Just the viewcone and see all players option, there is no other option for that as far as I am aware
