i have a cracked version 42.16.3 that i keep on my pc incase i wanna play with my friends that cant pay for the game and i also have a steam version, do they save the game to the same folder? can i play both of them without issues?

They save to the same folder, but saves are not overwritten unless you load them
Meaning as long as you do not load a save with the wrong version, you will be fine
