While trying to host a server and creating new settings i'm getting this message after picking the mods and trying to save
#error while trying to make server settings

google suggested it was a multiplier i changed but i still get this error with no multipliers changed
been trying for over 2 hours now, but im not that pc smart

If you try to create settings with no mods does it do the same thing?

Can you try doing a full reinstall?
First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.
After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.
Then just install the game again and see if that helps.

hi ash, i reinstalled it and loaded a singleplayer game with all mods enabled
but once again when i try to host and create a new server setting with all mods enabled it gives me this message

What about if you try to create new settings with no mods now?
make sure you've disabled the mods in the "Mods" page

with the mods disabled in mods page and no mods checked on while making settings it works

Ok so it's a mod issue, in that case you will need to narrow down which one. You can enable them one by one, or in batches, until you find the one causing the issue. The logs don't give many clues I'm afraid so it's going to be a manual process.
