Mods Error

Was there some kind of update that rendered every mod useless as of 5-4-26? I played with my mods just fine, didn’t change anything even after the 42.17 update.

Every mod worked just fine until just a couple of hours ago. I can’t load not one single mod in at all without getting the error message telling me to go into the console txt. To see what happened. Did something happen? Is this a normal occurrence and I just so happened to experience it for the first time ever?

I understand that the unstable branch will cause issues with mods especially if those mods aren’t up to date but like I said before, everything worked fine with no errors thrown at all until just a few hours ago. I even tried to single them out and it’s every single one lol. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game as well but nothing. I can play the game without mods but QOL stuff makes the game better than just straight vanilla. Can someone help me understand why this happened? Please and thank you.

Have you tried starting a new save with the mods enabled to see if it's the save that's broken?

Also can you start a new, vanilla save ok?

I did try to start a new one with them enabled and no luck with that. Also removed them and it let me access the save that had them enabled. Not one mod worked when I tried to single out which mod was throwing errors though. I know they work though cuz other people don’t seem to have a problem using them based on comments and there hasn’t been an update I can see so I’m not sure what they issue is

Can you share your logs.zip file found in %UserProfile%\Zomboid?

It actually cleared up on its own. It’s now letting me play with the mods I had installed. Didn’t do anything or change anything. I appreciate you getting back to me though
