Whenever I close and open the game again both me and my friend's map gets wiped clean. He sometimes alt f4s but as host I always use safe normal exit and very careful about it.
I have some quality of life mods like abilty to speed game up but it happens when I disable all mods.
Not sure what I need to send for this since its not a crash if you want me to send any files just ask and I will do so as a respond.

If you show them step by step, maybe a video or in detailed writing, on how you close and then reopen your server, they might see what was wrong in process.

Map progress being lost is a known issue and something that will be worked on for a future update.

I see thx... from not going further about it I imagine there is no way to fix it manually for players
