#New loot does not appear or appears only in small amounts.

I'm tired of fighting loot respawn. I've been testing this for about 3 days now and nothing helps. I have already set the maximum possible loot spawn and it still appears in a critically small amount (screenshots)

If earlier it was enough to set a certain category of "Amount of food: a lot", now I can't achieve any result at all so that loot appears in containers normally.

I get 1 can of food for 5 nearby houses. And that's only when it comes to food. Why is this happening? What am I doing wrong?

You don't need to pay attention to mods. It also doesn't work without mods.

I'm not seeing any issue on my own vanilla save.

Can you share your logs.zip file found in %UserProfile%\Zomboid so I can check for any errors that might be occuring

Only deleting chunks helped. WELL, AT LEAST THAT WAY.

Unfortunately, I can't send the log file here. There is a lot of confidential information of the server clients. This is a cloned VM of a large public server.

#

Tag me @still leaf if you want to log on to the server and help find the problem..

I was wrong, though. Deleting chunks did not help. Now loot in huge quantities has appeared everywhere.

#

The last thing I edited was the Roll Multiplier

#

But in the settings, it costs 1 hour to respawn loot. And I had to wait more than 6 hours. Maybe this value is now calculated not in hours but in days?

#

No. I was wrong again. Still, you need to delete the chunks of the map so that the respawn works with the settings that are specified. The last screenshot is March Ridge. I cleaned it earlier too.

  • And this screenshot is Riverside. He was not cleansed.

For loot to respawn the container has to have been accessed at least once, if you're not seeing loot respawn on a shelf you've never interacted with then that is expected behaviour. Deleting chunks will regenerate them with your new sandbox settings so seeing abundant loot on chunks you have deleted is expected.

If you want the loot to become abundant across the entire map you would have to regenerate the entire map.

Or delete segments, yes.

#

It's just that I'm moving through those segments of the map that were exactly opened earlier by other players. And they don't respawn.
