I am trying to play multiplayer with my friend in the game version listed above. We have no mods enabled. My friend is able to start a solo world or host the game fine but when I try to host, what happens is the following:
I get the "This is end times"
I get to the page of UI that shows how to walk and such. I am able to x out of my health menu which starts open by default but when I click anything else my game crashes. The same happens to me if they host and I try joining, the game works for them but not me.
This is what I have tried so far:
I have uninstalled Zomboid, also deleting the "Zomboid" folder, then reinstalling the game entirely while ensuring my workshop menu has no mods inside. The same result continues for me but not my friend.
I am trying to host while using 8gb, I at first thought it could be too much so I lowered it to 2 and that didn't change anything so I tried raising it higher than 8 and the same issues continues so I dont think it's a ram issue in this case.
My specs are the following:
Nvidia RTX 5060
16 gb ddr4 ram.
AMD Ryzen 8400F
I should also note that build 41 works fine when hosting without any issues. My friend and I keep troubleshooting different solutions but none work so far so we hope someone here may know what is wrong on my end.

Can you share your logs.zip file found in %UserProfile%\Zomboid?
Also can you share all “hs_err_pid” files found in your main game folder “Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid”?
I have the logs.zip file but I cant see any hs_err_pid file inside the ProjectZomboid folder or anywhere else on my pc.
