Hello everyone I am having a strange issue with a dedicated server I have setup. I followed the main guide for Windows B41 here: https://pzwiki.net/w/index.php?oldid=526445

After some initial issues everything works fine and I can connect both on the local network and outside connection for my friends. The issue is that sometimes after we are done and leave the server after a few hours I cannot connect from eithe rinside locally on the network or outside external internet connections. Server just never responds. The server console doesnt show any errors or attempts.

The weird thing is that if I just hit the space bar in this state the server seems to "wake up" and then outputs a few lines indicating the failed connection attempts that were tried and THEN at that point all internal and external connections can connect fine. I have the server set to save and pause time when no one is on the server.

Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to try and correct this issue? I an not near the server 24 hours a day so it sucks not to be able to connect at anytime unless I can be at the server to hit a key when it goes into this weird stalled state. Thanks in advance!

Do you interact with the PC at any point when the server is running? Does the system have anything running in the background?

No, once I start the server up I just leave the cmd window up in full screen. No other apps are running just the server

I disabled any startup apps and it's running pretty barebones w11

Hmm, the fullscreen might be something to look out for due to Windows weirdness.. can you share a screenshot of the CMD window once it freezes?

There are generally telling signs in screenshots if the server was manipulated or manually paused, or even paused by Windows, there would be a white square in the cmd window

oh thats interesting! I think I do see the window active with a cursor at times but need to verify if it is everytime the server is not responding.

what info is sensitive in the server logs? I want to post a screenshot but not sure what needs to be masked or not

should I just minimize the server cmd window after launching it to prevent any interaction with it then?
