#Controller settings fix

Hello, two things

  1. I went to play Pz yesterday and when I wanted to join my 3 month run, it wouldn't let me access it because of a mod issue (im assuming) but I dont know how to get my save back, pls help

  2. (To avoid future confusion im playing Project Zomboid on a steam deck with a Ps5 controller) My controller settings were incredibly messed up and broken when I made a new run to test if the game having a file save issue (refer to issue 1).
    The problem im having is:

the input to jog is no longer R2

the input to sprint isn't hold R2 and then tap "Circle"

the input to shove is now R2 and not L2

The input to attack with a weapon is now straight up gone (should be R2)

The current setting to walk is now when I just ever so slightly move the joystick

The settings to jog is now when I fully move the joystick.

And the settings to run is now full joystick move and tap Circle

I've screwed with the settings but to no avail and I dont know or play Project Zomboid any other way. The only progress I've made is that now when I push down on the joystick it toggles to jog??? SOMEONE HELP ME PLS

@unique meadow got a new problem now the menu isn't responding to any controlls being pressing on my controller and the options track pad menu to test if they are working says they are working

Oh and here's the pic of my world save, I dont know why it says a map is missing as it's a millitary car spawn mod and I dont know how to toggle it off

Update: the mod has fixed nothing and my controlls are now more fucked, my seperate mouse is the only that works now even before I installed the update this was the case for the last 4 boot ups. The mouse is now binding to the right joystick and the touch pad on the controller and my separate mouse as well. No progress has been made only receeded

That mod hasn't been updated since the 14th March so very likely is broken in the latest unstable version.

Unstable isn't really made for long term saves as stuff changing can break them so you'll probably need to start a new one or wait for that mod to update, even then there's no guarantee it will fix it as lots of other changes have been made.

I'm still trying to find something that might help with the controller issue

I'm wondering if you unplug the mouse does the controller start working as expected with that mod enabled?

The Mouse is Bluetooth and I will probably be able to test that this coming Saturday as im gonna be busy all week unfortunately
