need help really bad

me and my buddy are doing a 6 months later run and we had bandits mod on and noticed we havnt seen any bandits yet, then we remebered that we needed another bandits mod for it to work, so we added that. my friend is the one that host the server via the host button in main menu, when he loads in it works fine but when i load it it says "project zomboid.exe" isnt responding after clicking "click to start" i really need help i dont wanna lose this run

i just redownloaded the game and it worked

but it still almost crashes when i press click to start

it shows the blue spinning circle

Can you try doing a full reinstall?

First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.

After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.

Then just install the game again and see if that helps.

thanks i have a few ingame questions, does multihit count towards guns and if i see the hitchhiker prison sign does that mean the prison is near?
