Hi,
I am unable to connect to any server in Project Zomboid. I really love this game and I'm very frustrated that I can't play multiplayer.
Here is what I have already tried to fix the issue:
Deleted the "saves" and "server" folders.
Verified the integrity of game files on Steam.
Manually added ports 16261 and 16262 to my firewall exceptions.
Despite these steps, I consistently get the error message: "Connection to P2P server failed".
Could you please help me figure out what is wrong?
Thank you in advance!

Can you try doing a full reinstall?

First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.

After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.

Then just install the game again and see if that helps.

Have you added the firewall exceptions to windows firewall and your routers firewall?

I did that. I'm wondering if it's just a simple connection issue. Actually, I'm using my Samsung phone's hotspot, which uses its internal mobile data connection.
