#MP instantly terminating instead of letting me host a world

Im not an expert or anything but I think the issue is that your internet provider doesnt allow port forwarding
There are 4 servers:
Dedicated (Rented)
Local (HOST option in main menu)
Local Dedicated (Server running locally on your PC)
Splitscreen (Either Steam Remote Play Together or real life Coop)
Which one is the one you are setting up
Do you have any mods enabled? Does it terminate without them?
try naming your server anything but standard, it is common for "servertest" not to work because it was originally created many patches ago
I save some I could try that but it wouldn't be super fun
The person I am playing the game with is on the same internet as me and we have played multiple servers together but they eventually break and instantly terminate
Local
Is not named server test
Most likely a mod related issue then, if you want you can send over a collection with all tye mods you have and the .ini file for that particular world. You can also try, before that, to delete the world or reset the world, idk what the button says and start the server again. Sometimes that has proven to help me
Before I added mods I have had this problem as well
Try to check how much ram is allocated to the server. I recommend 8 minimum
I have 8
Also someone with a far shittier computer than me can run all these mods without crashing and host a server btw
and his computer is hundreds of dollars cheaper
Can you share your .ini file?
How
I can only help if it happens with 0 mods, regardless of the fun factor, otherwise it means your mods are causing you issues and you should disable them
